I first saw one when I was in the cub scouts as a kid when they were new. Probably thinking 4th grade. Yep that many years collecting. Actually 1972 when my grandma gave my brother and I a 50 year old silver dollar each. Mine had an s on the tail. 50 yrs ago.

I just purchased a graded 69 but to me it looks like the coin was stamped twice because the first part of liberty is slightly moved to the right. Should it be noted in the detail of the grading?
I have three 1976 S Un Circulated I bought in 1988 while stationed in Okinawa Japan. They are in protective paper and plastic holders. Two are marked BU and one is marked CH BU. What do you think? High dollar or just average? Should I get them graded?

If you wasn't paying close attention he says "silver" but doesn't mean the 90% S silver proof coins, he's talking about the 40% S silver bicentennial quarter which I haven't seen personally, but I knew they were out there! In total there are four bicentennial quarters you need for a full set: Philadelphia (business strike) Denver (business strike) Sanfancisco - 90% (proof strike) Sanfancisco - 40% (business strike)
I have these coins and they are doubles Stamped coins but you have to be afraid to stick anything in the mail today to have it authenticated and that bothers me I cannot afford to take a loss on something as precious as this thank you so much
