Love the enthusiasm, but don't put yourself in a bind.
I don't know what it is but something about the Green Ranger helmet makes it so epic, even compared to the other MMPR helmets.
You'll get no argument from me.
I tried this helmet on once. Tried turning my head the helmet stayed in one place. Tried looking up and down the helmet just didn’t move lol.
A friend of mine got two helmets years ago with the plan to keep one for cosplay and another to get signed by JDF. Unfortunately JDF passed before my friend ever got the chance.
He ended up selling it to me for a great price of $350 and I really love it. It’s not great for all-day wear. But it looks great for cosplay pictures and on display. Plus it’s a big hit on Halloween.

Man, I just picked one of these up used on ebay for triple the original price, and thats a good deal! They are hard to find or if you do, atleast 600 and up used.
I know, the prices I'm seeing or Horror Film Worthy.
Sellers are asking ridiculous amount of money for the green helmet.. I'll wait for the Hasbro collection just like the master morpher.

I still have mine unopened! New and sealed. Should I just open it?
If you plan to keep it forever, I would open it and put it on display. But if there is the slightest chance you'll resell it later. I'd keep it sealed, and I definitely would not recommend this particular piece for cosplay.

I ended up opening it and displaying it in my detolf. I figured that it’s my favorite power ranger and I might as well enjoy it. It was hard while opening it but once I put it up for display, I don’t regret opening it lol
Been considering picking one of these up but keep hearing mixed things. As a guy with a larger head and neck I hear this thing is huge so it might actually fit which had me hopeful as the 25th Legacy Halloween Green Ranger costume with plastic helmet fit. However I hear people with smaller heads and necks saying it’s hard as hell to get on, tight around the chin and neck, and digs into the back of the head and neck. That’s worrisome. I’m not trying to drop $400-$500 on a helmet I can’t use. I want to use this model though as it’s official, and so I can also display it as a collectible when not using it at conventions. Not wanting to buy this as a collectible and another one custom made for cosplay. Think this would fit someone with a larger sized head?
I would recommend against it, just getting it on is pretty tight and I just can't seem to adjust it in such a way so that it doesn't dig into my neck. If you could get it on, it would be very uncomfortable. If I had to do it over again, I may reconsider.
I got myself an aniki helmet. Just purchased it from their etsy shop which i recommend doing so youre not waiting a year.
I actually had one. I made the mistake of trading it for this one. I'm happy I have the legacy helmet in my collection, but I miss my aniki.

Lol, often enough. I tend to just spot clean from time to time rather than do a full dusting every so many intervals.
I recently bought a legacy green as well, someone else beat me to the hasbro white helmet though...only obtain 1 out of 2, what happened to your aniki green helmet?
I actually traded it, planning to get a new one with the shade of green that will match my cosplay and opens near the back instead of the center.
@@MightyMorphinDJ aniki takes a long time though...or you might not get your item, at least thats what I heard.
@@haohuang4222 I have heard similar, may wait until Hasbro releases the green ranger helmet, then buy 2 and repaint 1 the darker shade of green I want.

Your best bet is to look for it a Comic Cons, They'll want to up charge because they know what they have and it's right there so the pressure is on for the buyer but you can talk them down some times and you'll be able to inspect in in hand. Much safer than FB Marketplace.

Ugly helmet and very very far from accurate
not going to argue with ya, it's probably the worst looking one in my collection.
