A good correlation I like to make is that of religion. Just because someone is Jewish or Christian doesn’t mean we need to alter our lives to accommodate their beliefs. So you should not expect someone to do it in this case either. I’m not saying that I would go out and purposely use the wrong pronouns for someone, but understand that I don’t believe what you do and I don’t think it’s very smart to try and force others into this lifestyle.
