- What a great feeling to suddenly discover some off-road footage that you'd previously thought you'd lost. I can remember riding this route but I cannot remember when I rode it. Maybe that's an age thing though. 😂

Interesting watching this older footage compared to your more recent more off road footage.
Better more confident rider, better bike or both?
Seems like you’ve kind of split the 350 off road and 701 on road/light gravel?
Would be interesting to see you take the 701 down some of the more technical/recent off road tracks to see how you get on, how it feels.
Could you imagine swapping the 701 for a mid weight twin adv. Aprilia tuareg or new cfmoto 450?
Still good on less technical off road tracks but more on road comfort?
Duncan hi, I honestly don’t recall when this ride took place only that it was many months ago. Even I can see the difference in my confidence in more recent videos when compared to this one. For me personally I feel more at ease, relaxed etc on the 350 when riding off road, that won’t be the same for everyone but that’s how I feel.
I’ve no intention of getting a twin, I do like the T7 but I’ve no need for it or anything similar to it, the 701 ticks all the boxes for me.
Once my tyres need replacing on the 701 I’m going to put some Trackers back on, I have some currently cluttering up the garage and then I will attempt some of my previous routes on the 701 and see how I get on. Plus in about three months now, we have the ABR and I’ll be taking the 701 there as I have in previous years.

@@701Adventures brilliant new to green lanes but in Yorkshire all the time on my ninja 1000sx , Bowes in Durham, Hawes , Devils Bridge, love it down that way 👍
@@Davidlouis3 Yeah there’s some very decent roads up in The Dales. I’ve just returned from Scotland so hoping to get out on the bikes nest week, weather permitting 👍
