    Miss Lori thank You so Much. Awesome VIdeo it`s cool to see you enjoying Life. Father God Bless you in your Adventures. A good Name (Wendy Moira Angela Darling) you remind me of Actress Magie Smith that Co-Stars in The Movie Hook with Robin William. Stay Joyful and in Great Health.

    That trailer is so trick, I think you should call her "Trixie". As far as what I've taken rving as a single woman, I bought some solar motion detected lights that I put around my rig so if anyone comes near they will turn on to warn me. Of course, this doesn't help when you're sleeping, but still, from the sound of it, I don't think you sleep all that much. I stick them on with Velcro so I can pull them off when I'm traveling. I also have 65 pound German Shepard that will bark to scare off someone. I used to have a large metal crate for her for my old rig that I kept outside. One day I heard two people comment on how big the crate was. Made me realize that could be a deterrent.

      Hey Lu, great idea on the lights, I'll get some of them ordered right away

      @@LorisRVLife just because you don't have a dog doesn't mean you can it up a crate. I use the folding kind of metal crates and have an old one if you'd like it. It weighs over 25 pounds though.

      @@lustraveller717 I was thinking about getting one of those plastic crates and using it for storage :) Lighter and I can just toss it in the truck bed while traveling :)

    Think of the tools you used when you were renovating. Eliminate the painting equipment. A set of sockets might be a good idea.
    At least one spare tire for the trailer and a tire wrench. A large bottle of vodka. :)

    How much of a pain is this to open and close in the rain?

    • @LorisRVLife
      @LorisRVLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The person opening/closing ends up getting wet but, the inside of the TrailManor doesn't get wet. Unless you get wind driven rain but, it's minimal.

    Love your rig! Probably a dumb question, but what keeps someone from breaking into the rig by just sliding the slide in and hoping up inside? Just wondering if it's safe to leave unatended at a campground. Thanks for sharing!

    did you purchase your t.m in such good conidtion, physical condition? we purchased a 2003 trailmanor as well and has a roof leak as well as the middle of the roof concaving in. just wondering if you had to replace anything such as the weather strips, or the rollers for when pull the camper out, or push in . (@5:19) sorry might sound confusing.

    • @LorisRVLife
      @LorisRVLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello scuba steve :) I got really lucky and bought my TM from a couple who live only 45 minutes from me. The were the original owners and when the TM was not in use, they garaged it. The only thing I've "had" to replace was the bag seal on one of the shells. While I was in South Dakota, I made a stop at the TrailManor Factory and had some other work done to it as well. Mostly things that made it easier for me. New AC, replaced and adjusted the lift arms and a few other misc things. They are GREAT there... I have a video about being at the TrailManor Factory too.

    • @larryb51
      @larryb51 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LorisRVLife I was going to suggest the front shell torsion bars could use more tension at the front. For a completely mechanical system, it's amazing just how easy it is to open and close the shells. Scuba, probably one of the previous owners walked on the roof and collapsed it in. The center strip is unlikely to leak (unless some one damaged the roof). It's really important to keep the vents sealed on the roof. Water can leak through the vent seal and travel to the side wall. There is a thin piece of luan board on the kitchen side that can rot if water gets in. Otherwise, all the structural components are aluminum and pretty sturdy.
