this shows that joseph did regret what he said to caesar through all those years. i love how he puts both himself and caesar into their place and scolds them for being selfish and irrational.
I feel like the Joestar bloodline inherently can use hamon if they train enough. Like an ability lying dormant. Maybe that's why they always look so young lol
I like how Joseph had to talk his way through the whole thing even known I'm pretty sure all it would take is Jotaro staring menacingly at everyone to get them to back the hell off.
@@BoreBone I see a lot of people saying that, and you're right, he can use his stand to conduct hamon, however, Joseph himself admits his hamon is far weaker than when he was at his peak during his exchange with DIO. So, unfortunately, nope, he likely wouldn't be able to kill the Pillar Men anymore.
Mr. Monocle but then again the stands can conduct hamon all it takes is to get close to them get behind jotaro give him hamon that then goes through star platinum.... profit
Old Joseph knew exactly what to say in this argument to stop it in it's tracks. Which makes sense - he's probably replayed that particular argument in his head a lot in the 50 years between the original argument and now.
I think it's so cool that Old Joseph is still at least slightly intimidated by the pillar men just from his memories of how intense and nearly fatal all of his battles with them were. Araki has some impressive character depth sometimes. I'd argue on the level of Wheel of Time easily.
Jotaro also bluffs really well. Remember D’Arby the gambler. But yeah Joseph is amazing at it. I also like how he pulled the exact same bluff that Lisa Lisa pulled in the actual anime, with the small explosive.

ZidanReignVG well he could just be like "yeah whatever, I have to work on JoJolion", the game doesn't matter that much to him, it's not part of his canon
You know, if this lead to Caesar surviving Part 2, I'm guessing Joseph still might have lost his hand anyway somehow. I still wonder if Perfect Kars still would have happened, though.
Probably. Even if Ceaser had survived, I wouldn't think it would effect the plot THAT greatly. Wamuu's fight ultimately would have been the same, as well as Kars initial victory given that even with JoJo and Ceaser teaming up, things still wouldn't initially be in their favour.
Even if the anomalies have already taken effect in that era, older Joseph really didn't care about any space-time disturbing consequences if he wanted to prevent younger Joseph and Caesar going into that traumatic argument again.
Mohammad Kurniawan Honestly, extra stories/fan-made stories are the lifeblood of a fandom. Like, I had a story in my head where all the JoJo villains fight each other in a Battle Royal. And it would have some cool scenarios, like Diavolo’s Time Skip vs. DIO’s Time Stop, and Yoshicaga Kira’s Sheer Heart Attack sent to kill someone, only to immediately go after AC DC.
That's fucking disappointing. Then again, much like Kars' defeat, they had to be written out of the story because they're too powerful, I suppose. If they stayed, they'd wreck all the other characters.
4:46 the words he wanted to say his whole life. Those words could have saved his friend he cared for as a brother. Imagine 50 years, 50 long years how simple just those words could have prevented a lifetime of regret and pain. The fact he knew exactly what to say to both Caesar and even himself shows just how much he has regretted this argument and has been thinking what to say. What this game shows is that Joseph really knew how arrogant and selfish he was when he was young, and understood now why Caesar was so bent on revenge. This right here is the best joseph in any version because he got a chance to correct and stop his biggest failure in his life.

Old Joseph didn't outsmart them, he just shifted the argument to become so awkward that the Pillar Men were glad for any excuse to walk away from it as soon as possible.
jotaro just there like "didn't even have to ora ora anything"
Man's just chilling there like "This ain't something I want to nose in."

this shows that joseph did regret what he said to caesar through all those years. i love how he puts both himself and caesar into their place and scolds them for being selfish and irrational.
JOTARO IS A HAMON WARRIOR THATS WHY HE NEVER LOOKED OLD
I feel like the Joestar bloodline inherently can use hamon if they train enough. Like an ability lying dormant. Maybe that's why they always look so young lol
40 is not old.
Joseph is 69 in Part 3.
DarkSteelGamma 67 I believe
Luvin Sama He actually ages backwards.
lisa lisa *suddenly falls*

yea he doesnt even help her up. like oh shit mom are you ok? nope just hey bitch you good? ok i guess you good.
Joseph and Caesar: *Loud arguing*
Their animations: *Calm hand waving pose*
I like how Joseph had to talk his way through the whole thing even known I'm pretty sure all it would take is Jotaro staring menacingly at everyone to get them to back the hell off.
SuperTiberian Old Joseph would destroy the Pillar Men, since he can infuse his hamon with his stand.
Actually, if I remember right in some of their fight quotes the Pillar Men can actually sense Stand energy, even though they can't see it.
SuperTiberian the Pillar Men never pissed him off. What possible reason could he have to fight them.
Not only am I replying since no one else did, but also holy crap you’ve been on TH-cam for a while.

I think it's so cool that Old Joseph is still at least slightly intimidated by the pillar men just from his memories of how intense and nearly fatal all of his battles with them were. Araki has some impressive character depth sometimes. I'd argue on the level of Wheel of Time easily.
Joseph Joestar still bluffing his way through everything.
He bluffed Shiza out so he could live another day instead of getting squashed
That's his secret cap. Joseph is a master at bluffing.
Jotaro also bluffs really well. Remember D’Arby the gambler. But yeah Joseph is amazing at it. I also like how he pulled the exact same bluff that Lisa Lisa pulled in the actual anime, with the small explosive.
@@achievedchair17 I do remember. D'Arby the older did outsmart Joseph...
But Joseph got his revenge by hiding how he cheats from the gamer D'Arby.
They felled for it

-OH NOOOOO-
I love how Jotaro just stands there menacingly.
I’m pretty sure that Jotaro, Caesar, a weakened Lisa Lisa and young and old Joseph would be more than enough to handle the pillar men.
Mr Lowkey pretty much yeah lol, heck old Joseph alone should be enough with proper planning and hermit purple set up
Mr Lowkey Jotaro alone is too much for the Pillar Men.
kars would solo all of them in his sleep
Kars at this point doesn't have the red stone and as i see it the Pillar men are in disadvantage as this scenario with Old Joseph having a stand and has experience fighting and beating the Pillar men and Jotaro who could stop time and could outclass the Pillar men in speed and strength with Star Platinum and not to mention the Pillar men cannot see stands too
Mr Lowkey Old Joseph and Jotaro can beat each Pillar men 1v1.
Basically: "that's bullshit, but I believe it".
Nice pic. Source?
your not wrong
"Y'see the funny thing is, I know you're playin' me.. but you're right."
I still love how Wamuu doesn't think about JoJo badly. He still views him as an opponent that he will fight and possibly die, unlike Kars and Esidisi.
Whammu wearing pants?!?
What?!
Unacceptable
EVEN SPEEDWAGON IS AFRAID!
M-masaka!!
@ReyaitheShadowWolf So you actually Enjoy seeing's Wamuu's bananna stick out through that thin underwear of his? you sick fuck. But if it's your thing ok, so be it. Be happy Kars is wearing chains and a cloth for you. one wind blow and whoosh there's his Junk. I can never unsee the Pillar men's half naked attires. I'm honestly surprised NO ONE even commented on their Attire.
@YuudiHoshi I want to keep my Eyes and don't want to turn Bi. I'm sorry for your loss tho lol.
To be honest I'd imagine although Kars was talking with the others, his eyes were focused on the young man at the back.
The black coat, the golden chains, and a bizarre hat which blends with his hair.
Gave Kars a look he won't forget, cause it was a menacing one.
You gotta wonder how they'd react to Star Platinum, assuming they can even see him...
The quotes in a fight suggest they can sense a Stand but not outright see it.
"Who is this man? He's just standing there... MENACINGLY!"
Scorpio The Scorpion weeebuuuu weeeeebuuu
I can see it now...
Jotaro: ....
Kars: Hm? A non Hamon warrior? Come! Kars shall be your opponent.
Jotaro: .... *looks at Joseph* Not today. he's your problem not mines.

I disagree, the game had a pretty good scenario overall!
THE RISER yep
Well written but the character animation is absolutely shit

I am certain that if Jotaro's adventures had happened in modern times, he'd have spent this whole scene playing on a smartphone.
What else he gonna do?
@@atlas1924 Stand still, VERY uncomfortably, apparently.
I love how Jotaro is just watching all this unfold while everything ignores him
"Shit, so this is what gramps was up to back in the day?"
Couldn't Oldseph just use Hermit Purple and Hamon to kill all 3 of them since the Pillar Men can't see stands
Mario Almanza I don't see why not but i think its mire about disrupting the timeline. He wouldn't become the man he is today (1988) without those experiences
Mario Almanza Much more importantly: Could Oldseph awaken Youngseph's stand ? If so, how much stronger than Star Platinum would it be?
Weren't the stands only awoken around the time that Dio was found
Nickolas Cat Oldseph could kill Enyaba and get the arrow.
nope, It got awoken when Dio got stabbed by Enyaba with the arrow.

Araki.
Araki didn't write this game
Kien D. Nguyen but he let it happen anyway as he was involved in the game's story overseering it while in its development cycle. its still him by accountability my dude
ZidanReignVG well he could just be like "yeah whatever, I have to work on JoJolion", the game doesn't matter that much to him, it's not part of his canon
Kien D. Nguyen none of that conjecture you just stated faults my statement used as an answer to op.
Op didn't ask whether it was canon or not lmao
Old Joseph's such a good dad.
Even for himself and his best friend.
Caesar: **Dies again**
Old Joseph:
*OH MAYY GADDDD*
*SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*

You know, if this lead to Caesar surviving Part 2, I'm guessing Joseph still might have lost his hand anyway somehow.
I still wonder if Perfect Kars still would have happened, though.
Probably. Even if Ceaser had survived, I wouldn't think it would effect the plot THAT greatly. Wamuu's fight ultimately would have been the same, as well as Kars initial victory given that even with JoJo and Ceaser teaming up, things still wouldn't initially be in their favour.
@@classygamer293 but they would've had a third person there to hold onto the gem so kars wouldn't have been able to get that close to it.
Even if the anomalies have already taken effect in that era, older Joseph really didn't care about any space-time disturbing consequences if he wanted to prevent younger Joseph and Caesar going into that traumatic argument again.
Old Joseph constantly looking at young Joseph to back him up is such a great detail
Hope you liked that moment with the Pillar Men, because they never show up again.

@@BaronB.BlazikenBaronOfBarons This is basically an extra story for Stardust Crusader, the Pillarmen has no business in it 😂😂😂
Mohammad Kurniawan
Honestly, extra stories/fan-made stories are the lifeblood of a fandom.
General Greninja ....that second scenario sounds pretty neat actually....
shit im pretty sure he regretted those words so much for the past 50+ years ;-; stopping himself was just part of the redemption ;-;

@John Smith PORNAREFF???
Old joseph could have just used hermit purple with hamon on kars here. They can't see stands anyway, this way maybe joseph can get his hand back
they can. Nukusaku from Part 3 proves that vampires can naturally see and damage stands with their physical attacks, when he's able to see, attack, and even damage (slightly) Star Platinum.
He is explicitly stated to only be a vampire and does not possess a stand.
ZanathKariashi nukesaku face thing was his stand.
Nukesaku is explicitly stated in and out of manga/anime to have no stand.
The extra face is due to his vampire abilities.
ZanathKariashi May be. He was stated to only be a zombie though, not a vampire.
he's officially a vampire. He's only a zombie in Jorge Joestar.
