Dinoman972 Because either Jonathan is either their grandpa or ancestor. No one except gappy, knows who Johnny is because they live in an alternative universe. SBR is the alternative to PB. Same with Parts 4 & 8. Hence why Jonathan and Josuke are the only ones available to get Johnny & Gappy.

I wanna know. Why is Jotaro's Daughter's last name Cujoh. And Jotaro's is Kujo.
Because Jolyne didn't like him during the first ar of SO, so she changed it to try to disrespect him. And Jotaro's last name is Kujo, because Holly(his mother) married a japanese man with that lastname.
Basically, she hated dad and didn’t want to be associated with him in any way.

Actually, it's because Jolyne got admitted to prison and it's common for prisoners to anglicize their surnames if they're foreign. She probably did it to distance herself from Jotaro too (likely in part because he's a world-known scientist and doesn't want people asking her about him).
