- Hi guys this is in my opinion by far the best build for the start of split 3. This build gives Renekton so many more options than any other build and feels amazing even after all the item nerfs. Right now there's a lot of build variety you can do after the core of the build which is pretty fun to mess around with. I'm sure after a few patches everything will change but for now enjoy it!

I forgot to mention how to play with stride! You almost never want to just combo it during W for damage, you want to LAYER your stuns, stride and dashes to be either unkiteable or uncatchable. Very high skill cap build, gl gamers 😛

yeah this guide dropped into a great time, i started playing renekton but I was struggling to find any high elo renekton player, I was watching a korean challenger onetrick but bro basically plays renekton "support" it didn't really suit my style. i hope he posts more videos

is this patch stronger or weaker for renekton? I dont understand how weaker items makes early game champs better/worse
So I think this patch is worse for people that liked to build cleaver first or 2nd and steraks 2nd/3rd but for my build it's about the same but I think the meta will be worse for renekton with how strong AP champs are. Early game renekton isnt affected but games being longer and more mages being played affects his scaling a decent amount. So yea I'd say he's a bit weaker this patch but with my build he's probably still one of the best toplaners

I hated the mythic system, but I do miss the goredrinker/gargoyle build :( was so much fun being unkillable

i personally just rush eclipse, i build cleaver second sometimes vs tanks but I'm still more likely to build stride and focus on itemizing to flank and kill carries
