I am just starting to watch this type of racing, so exciting. I have been to port royal and path valley in pa. Should be on tv in some form so more people are aware
@Longhornchassis2thefront yes that was my first race, world of outlaws late models at path valley, the level of car control these guys have is superhuman.
Floracing shows Port Royal just about every week. They show a ton of sprint car racing from across the country. I think it's worth the 168 dollars for a yearly subscription.
How about them PA fans! What a large crowd for both nights at Williams Grove Speedway with this Outlaws sanctioned events. The PA fans came out in large numbers several weeks ago for PA Speedweeks and came out in large numbers for the Bob Weikert Memorial High Limit sanctioned event at Port Royal Speedway back in Memorial Day Weekend on that Sunday night. PA fans are second to none for 410 sprint car racing for Outlaws sanctioned events, High Limit sanctioned events or for regular PA Posse sanctioned events.
Drove from Toronto, Canada to come down and see David Gravel win his 100th World of Outlaws race and infront of a tough PA Posse group. Great evening and great fans at Williams Grove
Gotta love all the armchair television directors in the sprint car world these days. Not easy to film a fast paced sprint car race, they aren't going to catch everything
Graig Dollansky was my favorite driver for years. He never got that championship. Sence David Gravel has been with Big game Motorsports he has matured a lot. He has won alot of races but it takes consistentcy to win the championship!!!! Hope this his year!!!!! Go get it Divid it's yours for the taking you have the equipment and the crew to do it.... So go and take it. It's time!!!!!!!!

David Gravel is even better then Kyle Larson for this season and just having a great season. Donny Schatz is doing very good as well lots of second place finishes for him the last 5 races.
@@Trackratz-zl9diYeah, it is. Sweet’s a good “points” racer. Isn’t Sweet leading HL? Gravel had him last year and had a bad two week stretch after the NN. Nothing lasts forever, Gravel was going to get him at some point regardless.
@TheHallowedPhantom David would've won the chip last year had he been able to finish those races. Those DNF's cost him. All 3 times he took over the top spot in points, he had bad luck. Brad wasn't winning all the races with the outlaws. He hasn't won the most races the last 3 years. But when he doesn't win, he finished second

he says stuff people don't like and is a big personality. there isn't a good reason. the other is what happened at his first national open when he got into a posse driver to win

Great podium finish by Brent Marks with a 3rd so not all a bad night for PA fans. David Gravel does it again and he currently is the best driver in the country for 410 sprints. Sorry Brad Sweet fans but this is true in 2024 since David Gravel is the points leader for the Outlaws and the leading driver in total wins in the country and by far ahead of everyone in total money earned in 2024 currently. Brad Sweet was better than David Gravel in the previous 5 years but not in 2024 and the numbers show this on sprint car ratings website.
Went Friday night to William Grove, and saw the worst racing. Lance making a run to get in the Main was the most excitement . Don't think I will be spending $35 dollars to go and see follow the car in front racing. Use to be great racing there!
This cements, in my mind, the fact that it's not the overpowered (?) Ford engine in that 15 that's not being harnessed. It's that Schatz is getting old, and Gravel is "coming into his own". The WoO Championship is Gravel's to lose should bad luck befall him, which I doubt. But it's going to be somewhat anticlimactic for me without head-to-head with the 49 and that's a shame.

Schatz is getting old but he is still so smooth on a slick track, u see what he did at eldora, he said after the race the car got worse as the race went on, this ford motor has been hard on him learning from the ground up with a new power plant
The Ford Architecture engine makes just as much power as the Chev Architecture engine, it just delivers it slightly differently. So Schazt's car needs a little different setup as I understand it. That's what the 15 crew has supposedly been struggling with. But it looks like they are finally getting it figured out, don't yah think? Donnie might be getting older but I don't think he's quite done yet, beware of age and treachery! I can say that cause I've done a little racing and I age qualify! Lol. But it's lookin like Donnie can still can get it around the track! If Gravel can stay consistent it looks like he's probably got the championship at this point. But if he stumbles, don't count Schatz out just yet.
