Here’s the thing Shayda. You had the COURAGE to keep trying the thing even though your inner narrative was all over the place. Personally, I let my own thoughts hold me back way too much! So listening to you be honest about yours and watching you push through the thoughts is so inspiring! I do agree that simple was so beautiful but there’s definitely a loveliness to the after as well, it’s about how whimsical you want these to become. But beastly either way! Plus you have so much paper left that you could do more and do some of each, simple and whimsical. Love the vid, love you and all you share❤
I love these, and I'm thinking I'll add details with watercolor pencils so I can soften the lines or get rid of them with water. I want to make some watercolor cards for some of my neighbors in the building, who wonder about all the time I spend making art alone in my apartment.
I've done something like this, but I added a jar, and then stuck the stems inside my jar. I made my stems beefy enough that I didn't glue them. That way the recipient of the card could take the flowers out of the bouquet and rearrange them. 😊
I love them!!! Its also an opportunity to make art and crafts with our kids... thanks Shayda!! 🪷
