Nice set up, I’ve been wanting to do the same on mine as this Vegas heat is crazy and it doesn’t seem to get any cooler in spite of me replacing the entire cooling system so far. I see you did the in line thermostat mod, how did you route the coolant lines? I didn’t see too many write ups on line that explains which hoses go where. Thanks
Rover Ron Power increase and also vibrations from the motor went away! They are pullers, and there’s no need of any other fans, the a/c fan still in place and kicks in when a/c is turn on! Thanks for the comments buddy!! 🇬🇧
what size Spal fans are these and what did you make the shroud out of? I see it in the video- but no details. Also, what did you use as a temp sensor to turn them on and off and where did you locate the sensor? I see you also have the thermostat bypass mod- happy with that?
yjmsrv Hi there! The fans are 12" 1650cmf each " waterproof and dust proof, I used some scrap metal from an a/c unit, it turn out to be almost a perfect fit. For the temp sensor I used an adjustable fan controler that I set it up to kick in at 195F !!!
OK, one more quick question, and thanks for the quick replies. Where did you install the temp sensor to sense the coolant temp? Was it in-line with your thermostat (after?) or in the engine block itself. We definitely want to go with this set-up...
yjmsrv right now is on the radiator core outside, reads the temperatures Just fine, it just need to be adjusted. It takes 5 min of your time to get it right! Is a very simple set up!!! Thanks!! 🍻
Jeff Addinsall hay! On very hot day! City temps 183! And on high ways, 70mph 185F 85-90 mph climb up to 195 and the other fan will kick in at 193F. And the auxiliary fan will turn on at 212 in any case.. Runs very good men! I love it

Are both of these fans pushers or is it a push/pull set up? Was there any noticeable increase in power without the viscous fan?

yjmsrv The electric fan set up won't work with the factory thermostat, you the the inline set up in order to be effective!!! Thanks!!
