I loved the Glow Worm caves, I think they're the best things to experience in New Zealand! And nothing can prepare you for the smell of the geothermal pools in Rotorua!!!
Oh gosh the smell of Rotorua... aha luckily it's such a fun place!
Went through Waitomo during the uprise of Covid and basically knowing we were going to have to go home early. The stress and uncertainty was incredibly soothed in those 10 silent minutes floating under the glowing ceiling. ✨💙
Watching this reminds me of my own travels to NZ. I miss it so much.
Where did you go on your trip?
My parents and I hired a camper van and we drove all around. From as North as I could to Lands End in the South.
Think about that. You guys had almost 70.000 followers 2 1/2 years ago and now you are at almost 1 million! You've come so far! And your editing and filming skills have reached such a high level. I have currently 18 subscribers and I wonder where will I be in 2 1/2 years? It definitely keeps me motivated to see you guys rocking YT!

The thermal pools in Rotorua were amazing but the smell is absolutely awful. I don't know how anyone can live there and get used to that.

I just saw the glow worm caves last week! Loved it. I skipped out on the geothermal area because I am VERY sensitive to smells and worried how I would react to them.

I did the walk through tour and it wasn't scary at all. Very chill and no tight squeezes. Then you get to finish on a boat passing underneath the worms. ☺️

What was their reasoning for no cameras?
I went back in March and I think the main concern is flash photography. Obviously not good for the worms. It's a very sensitive environment

Glow worms are scary. I would have been terrified. they are nasty creatures.
Not at all. They keep to themselves and you don't get close enough to touch them anyway. They just hangout, catch bugs, and glow serenely in the darkness ☺️
