Thanks for the info. I didnt find the preset J in the dlss tweaks, so i downloaded the profile inspector, now i see it was a waste of time. thanks for sharing your knowledge to the community 😁👍

Funny, I've had SSW on since I got my Quest 3, but with this DLSS update trick, disabling makes things smoother for me. I know it makes no sense, but perhaps something to do with the new drivers and new diss files?
Try without SSW at 120hz, and please let me know.
    Cheers!

@@infinitelooptv9939 Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try. I have never disabled SSW because without it I completely lose smoothness, but I'll try with the new DLSS.

@@crisk73 I know! Me neither, but yesterday, after updating both Nvidia drivers and diss files, the sim was running smoother without SSW from Virtual Desktop. Perhaps they need to update Virtual Desktop now? I have no idea. Try and let me know.
      Cheers!

Applying 310 in DLSS Swapper really made the picture much much better, but gave no FPS advantages. Same with DLSSTweaks/Nvidia Inspector app sadly. I was looking for a performance gain, at least something.

You can gain performance if you push the DLSS level to the left towards performance or ultra performance levels. Readability is still good but you debottleneck your GPU usage.

@@crisk73 I am already at Ultra Performance. Although half the time my graphics settings will not apply and automatically revert to the original settings. No matter what I do, I get the same 52fps in VR. I can be on Ultra or Low, it's always 52fps. Any suggestions on why? i9-13950HX, 4080 12GB, 32GB RAM. Quest 3 Virtual Desktop.

Yes but fps should change depending on your DLSS levels from Ultra Perf to Ultra Quality shouldn't they? And readability should change the same accordingly. Else there's something wrong in the configuration I believe.

@@crisk73 For sure, yes. I think it's game's fault here, since my graphics settings in the game don't get applied and revert back on their own.

      Try the NV Inspector method.

Hi. I have a gaming laptop with RTX4060 8GB, 32GB ram and i7th and a Quest 3. Is it possible to use in VR or just for desktop instead laptops? When I try to use Vr mode with the Quest 3, is it stuttering a lot.

Hi it should work with laptops too. For sure it improves clarity and sharpness in all the DLSS presets so it saves a lot of GPU resources. Good for your 4060.

Your issue is probably related to VRAM, tone down setting like textures, clouds and such, hopefully that will improve in the stutters area.
      Cheers!

worst performance for me with quest 3 and 4070 ti with dlss 4. I had to return to 3.8

Sorry to hear that. DLSS4 should allow you to choose a lower level of DLSS such as Performance while having the same or better clarity.
