At 2:23 in your video you show a large image in the “Bio” section. I’ve added an image field to my database, but can’t get it to display anything but a tiny image (which you can’t really see). How do I display decent sized images?
I am trying to create a new database, but when I create a new one, it just copies the data from the first one. Is there a way to create a new database please
I had the same problem so I just created one property and tagged them. Later I filtered each table as I wanted. Now I can see tables according to tags.
Hey, maybe you can help me with notion bug. When I am creating sub-pages inside of my Notion database it automatically creates new database rows and I cannot properly put the sub-page inside of the page. Do somebody know to fix that?
Notion is a cool tool, but it's hilarious to say the database is more powerful than a typical spreadsheet. Excel *ahem* excels beyond Notion in functionality and capability, you just need a lot of know-how.
It's great that you have skills in a powerful tool like Excel, can learn advanced techniques, and apply them to meet your needs. OTOH, databases are often a core component in the systems or application architecture of a product or service (for many good reasons). By far, Notion makes this an easy task, great for untrained people as well as Jr architects. As a just retired systems architect, Notion's database is just too darn relaxing to not use over other solutions. But I do agree with your opinion, when no context on the use case is provided.
Note to architects, it is obviously required that you know your company's deployment policies. I hope that you're allowed to prototype using Notion but a lot of companies and agencies won't and certainly not for production. I'm founder and president of my non-profit with a friendly board, so no issue here 😊.
It's not, though. You can create references and view data along different axes, but you cannot _manipulate_ data, which is the entire point of a spreadsheet. It's a database. Hence the name. It's much closer to a SQL database than an Excel spreadsheet.
i've watched like ten videos of this and i get confuse and frustrated over every one lmfao
same
me to...
i think just try it urself, same feeling at first but was able to figure it out with tons of trials and errors

IM SO CONFUSED WHERE DO YOU FIND IT IN THE FIRST PLACE
You don't "find" it. You create your own
And i still don't know how to create database

It's literally a spreadsheet.
