I enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing the next and final comic. I am still trying to figure out the connection the violators original story. I am just waiting for some twist to happen. Other than that the story they made for violators origin is good.
You are right about the twist. I hope it doesn’t disappoint. One thing to keep in mind since this story is told from violators POV. How much of it will be left out just because it’s the violators character
I am literally surprised right now, violator is powerful enough to held his own towards Lucifer. I mean like, I thought Violator was just a wart compared to Lucifer.
@RatedComics I know, and in one of the issues Lucifer literally blew up an alternate version of Malbogia just by thinking about it. And that is literally hardcore.
I must say I do enjoy this take on Violator a little more. At least if we’re talking about origin. I don’t think his original is bad necessarily, just underwhelming. And this is coming from an Alan Moore fan (he wrote it) I don’t think his original Origin is bad, it serves its purpose but the thing is Violator is THE MOST iconic spawn villain. Even if narratively he was just meant to be a henchman, the fact he rarely evolved past that kinda hurt his character. So giving him this much importance in my eyes helps validate his presence. OFC this is coming from a Violator fan. I absolutely adore his portrayal in the HBO show.
The HBO series is Top G and I know Blumhouse can take inspiration from that into the Spawn film. As for the Violator Origin, I respect where you are coming from. I'm hoping that Issue 6 can tie it all together from a story standpoint but you are correct. I would imagine being on Earth this long Violating. There has to be some kind of arc, growth, or character development.
First Lucifer took a form of a child and his true form was a muscly Arabic guy with huge horns, now he's a Caucasian man with pure white hair and glowing white eyes. Dang, there are so many versions of Lucifer, but this one is definitely like the TV show version of Lucifer that is definitely accurate.
