It fascinates me how something this small can grow to something this big. Kinda shows that everyone of us has some potential to grow and be great, it takes patience and nurturing. You gotta water yourself everyday for you to grow.
it's truly fascinating how big something can grow from such a tiny seed. question, have you ever had a plant inexplicably die on you while trying to record a time lapse? i can't help but wonder how frustrating that could be.
@@bang4915 Well, it's actually mostly water that reacts with Co2 and ATP in a process known as Light independent reactions. This is where the glucose is synthesized from atp and split water/co2 molecules. The plant also needs phosphates to create ATP, and nitrogen to create some structural molecules inside of the cells (which it acquires from the soil).
I was wondering how does the plant look when it grows bigger, mine died after it grew first true leaves and I haven't tried growing it again since. Now I'd like to see it flower/produce!
What a unique plant! Have been looking for chia timelapse videos longer than 10 days and this one is exactly what I am looking for and blew my mind! The way it grows is like a vine and a tree in one! Thank you!
Omg, yes I was experimenting with chia seeds to see if they grow and my plant was like 7ft tall and I never got to see if the plant was going to produce chia seeds back before it died 😂😂😭😭
What was your light cycle toward month 3? Did you try to reduced to induce flowering? Do you think if you added Mylar or something reflective on the sides just out of camera frame, would it help growth?
Hey boxlapse.. it would be interesting if you can grow lobelia flowers! I have lobelia in my room in a pot, and they are beautiful! Abd im curious to see what they look like when the sprout and grow!
Tuyệt vời , công trình tuyệt vời của bạn. Nhưng tôi k hiểu bạn làm sao để tạo nên video như vậy được? 1 thiết bị bạn dùng thường xuyên trong 101 ngày như vậy hay sao?
Mine been growing this now for a year maybe 2 and they normally dies off after 1st production. 😅 but with seeds that fell i grow new bushes all the time. They do get very lopsided and so on. Grow very wildly 😅
growing with a special mars light, does it affect the way it grows? i read that you had to stop filming after 3 months and it was very tall, maybe because of how the light is only on top and it’s not getting direct light from all angles? idk, just curious because it’s veeery tall and it surprised me lol wanna know before i plant it :)

great video, will definitely need a very good camera.
&& to think- these “chia seeds” are at grocery stores, for 0.99c, and thousands in each pack! Maybe more than that, maybe hundreds of thousands of seeds!!
Hello, what kind of soil did you use to grow the chia seeds? I'm trying to grow them in sandy soil (cactus soil) is it possible for them to grow in such soil?
No… think of a tomato plant, the fruit when it’s red or whatever ripe color that particular tomato is…. Is edible but if you eat it when it’s to young and green, it’ll make you sick. And the leafs and the stem are toxic. So all plants have different parts that are edible or toxic or poisonous to different species. The seeds, stem, roots, leafs and fruit are all different and are not equal to each other. Kind of like you eat the meat on a cow but you wouldn’t serve up a plate of cow hair…You know?? That’s the best way I can explain it, I hope that makes sense.

Did you know that almost all of its weight came from the air
@@bang4915 not quite true cells duplicate which makes the plant grow
@@2coolforyou197 yeah but almost all of its mass came from the air
The cells mass which is carbon and other elements came from the air and dirt

The human egg is even smaller than a plant seed, yet almost 98% of the DNA isn't even used up

mine go so laggy that none of my plant stands up lol... I already put it in the place with best sunlight
@@chunhui3936 lol
@@chunhui3936 only water when the soil turns dry. not only is having no water, having too much water can also be extremely harmful to the plant.
@@daviiddd1198 a few of mine was grown hydroponically, and also have a few in the soil, maybe there was too much rain
Maybe your plants aren’t standing up because you aren’t rotating it so all sides of the plants can get sun light?
It’s so satisfying to grow a plant grow from a seed!
This is wild to watch! I've never even thought of chia growing any bigger than what you'd see on Chia Pets.
Exactly! I thought they grew 1 or 2 MAYBE 3inches if they were lucky but not that whole thing! That looks like it's the height of a human
Love your videos:)nature is so fascinating:), don't ever stop doing this!
Yes! ❤💯💯

It’s always amazing to see a plant growing from a tiny seed…💞
Thank you for the information about the light as well~
From a seed so small to a plant this big.........Nature does some amazing feats
Thanks for such a calming music.
That big ‘ol plant came from that one tiny seed? Fascinating
Just saw you on my recommendation a few weeks ago, and now I'm casually binge watching your videos, they're so satisfying.
Unbelievable how the chia grew SO MUCH from such a tiny seed
You've inspired me. I'm gonna go buy some pots, some dirt, some seeds. I'm gonna liven up my apartment a bit.

The thing looks like plant youd see in a game
Cute the plant looked like it was pumping it's leaves towards the light, like it was swimming
I wonder how much plants this guy has in his garden by now 😂
Yes
It would be great to see you bring it to flower and maybe change it up with a white chia seed. Excellent time lapse.
Your videos deserve more love!

Is your house just full of plants now?
Blooming is dependent on day length outside. It has to be less than 12 hours.
What do you have to do to get chia seeds back from the plant?
Can you tell me how many hours a day do you light?
Can you do the Bleeding Crown for PewDiePie? lol
When you wonder what's the plant that's growing in your backyard and you get rid of it thinking it's a weed and than you watch this video one day. 😂😂
