    I have a 1999 FXDL.
    It's not for sale.
    Solid rear spoked front wheels.
    Still twin disc front.
    Corbin seat forward controls.
    Back to buckhorns.
    V&H straight shots and fueling 525 cams.
    Have to replace the chrome covers and was going to go black but then it would look like everything else out now so got all the OEM chrome except for the cam cover which is obsolete.

    Wanted an M8 low rider S for a long time now. Really only thing keeping me away is price of aftermarket parts for what I want + price to get the bike and the minimal lean angle stock. I don’t see anything online talking about real numbers of what you gain lifting the bike up from the factories 31ish degrees of lean. If the bike is lifted 2 more inches front and rear like this bike looks to be, what’s that translate to? I think in 6 months I’ll have one. Built a supermoto for myself rn and it’s great, but always be an HD guy.

    • @Livinvtwin
      @Livinvtwin  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Joebro200 definitely some good point it’s never a cheap thing to do. Ideally buying one as done as possible or everything but the motor can save you big cash!
      Lifting the bike gives it clearance off the ground from pegs exhaust primary ect. Then also being able to have more clearance turning.
      We all come from motor cross backgrounds and this is the setup what we like and enjoy riding.
      Full break down on this lrs m8 coming soon!

    I’d love to try out a new soft tail m8, I can’t wrap my head around the fact a soft tail could ever be better than dyna.. I come from the early twin cam world where the soft tail is usually considered the worst bike for any type of aggressive riding!

      The older softails are different in design in a couple ways, the frame is different and the placement of not two but one shock. The shock is under the seat running from the top back of frame to the very top of swingarm. The old ones have them directly underneath the frame on bottom running to the front of swingarm. The difference in handling is highly noticeable. Especially when you put a better suspension on the new m8! Mine is raised up in the front and back and aggressive riding is most definitely not an issue. It's worth a test ride and for sure a purchase!! 🤘
