That's where I'm at, although I have a different country version. Not much change except can't use Samsung Pay since it's regional based and 1 or 2 smaller differences. I don't care about the headphones jack since I use Galaxy earbuds. The more I think about this video, I'm not sure now if I should step up to the A53. I had been looking bat comparison of it against S21 FE and it made lore sense to buy the A53 cuz of the cost factor. Although I might still buy the A53 cuz the Indian variant I have of the A52 doesn't have 5G though it does have 8GB RAM over the 6 of the Canadian and other variants
Just bought the A52 instead of A53 after a lot of consideration since headphone input is of great importance to me. Although the A 53 is only £38 more expensive than A52, there will be the additional cost of purchasing a fast charger and a headphone adaptor. In conclusion the A53 is going to cost at least £80 more than A52, however both are very good and similar.
I own a52 5g 8g-256g variant, got it for 380$ here in Philippines last year. My cousin just bought a53, 8g-128g. We both play the same games CODM and Mobile Legends. Our geekbench score has different score than yours, mine is slightly higher than his, both single core and multi. Gaming with both phones for real life comparison, a52 5g is slightly better. Noticeable fps drops on a53 at around 2 1/2 hrs of playing while a52 fps drops at near 4 hrs. Also his a53 exynos heats up faster than mine (not super hot). A52 also has better back camera, while a53 has better front. Maybe devs optimize their games more on 750g than exynos, idk for sure.

Not really. I haven't had battery issues with mine. It only drains it if I'm playing heavily demanding games like Call Of Duty Mobile which is to be expected. Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, and I think Twitter apps will also drain your battery if they're running in the background which they like to do often so be mindful of those. If you want to extend your battery life you can always reduce the screen refresh rate from 120 hz to 60 hz in the settings. Your phone won't be as snappy but it will conserve battery. You can also put your phone into dark mode under the display settings along with adjusting the brightness and that will help. Also if you go under where it says battery in the settings you can optimize performance and that can help a bit.
Yes they are I got the a52s 5G. I got my Android 12 upgrade in early January. I'm still waiting for the UI 4.1 upgrade. I got in March the Security package upgrade so Samsung promised four years of Android upgrade.
@Stay'Hydrated'Drink'Whiskey don't get me wrong, I have both, HX Earbuds and HyperX Cloud Wired Gaming Headphones, and I can clearly see the difference, I use earbuds to listening to music and I use Headphones for Gaming or calls, and trust me, with this new Apple and Samsung thing of removing things from the boxes, I'm not even mad of they removing the chargers, cuz I don't mind charging my phone slowly with 10yrs old chargers, it's going to be even better for battery lifespan, but headphone jack really avoids Bluetooth connection problems and has 0 latency, not having to buy and carry a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter everywhere to be able to use my wired headphones is awesome

I'm using A52 5G and waiting for the A55, I think the only advantage that the A53 has is the processor but only if you play games on it. I'm that guy who never play games on phone so I use normal apps hence the A53 have no advantage in my usage habit.
Watching on my 1 month old A52 5G ( with my new galaxy watch 4 44mm) .I'll see your more powerful processor with 5000 battery and no headphone jack and keep my headphone jack and 4500 battery and you can borrow my charger.( if you don't already have one. )
I'm with you Derrick Goodman. How the fuck Samsung gonna justify on a mid range phone giving people a fucking USB charging cable without the charging brick and doing away with the 3.5mm headphone jack just to give you a bigger battery and a exynos chipset that most would favor a snapdragon.
I don't think it'll be worth the upgrade for me this time around... Now if I still had my A51, I'd automatically jump ahead to the 53 but the 52 is still a really solid phone and was a good facelift, if not miles better, than the 51. Pity that headphone jack is tossed as I like it just out of sheer convivence... Maybe when the 54 comes around in possibly '23 I might get it if the 52 stops update support which thankfully won't be happening in the foreseeable future.

However multi-core score = 2350 Below are the results of the a53 5g vs. A52s 5g for geek bench So the a53 5g = 741 single cor So the a52s 5g = 738 single cor A53 5g = 1878 multi cor score A52s 5g = 2350 multi cor score As you can see the a52s 5G is drastically Superior when it comes to the multi-core score.

Sorry, your info is wrong. A52 LTE (non 5G) has 720G. A52 5G has 750G. On paper Exynos 1280 is still stronger than 750G, but not much, & being Snapdragon 750G is better optimized. Go with A52 5G for better value & performance.
Thank you! I have the A51. For over a year, I've had no complaints, no problems. A few days ago, my phone just started powering off and on repeatedly, barely letting me get in it to do anything. Tried the factory reset, but it did not help. Don't know of anything else to fix this phone, so I'm looking into buying a new one. I've compared the A53 with the S20 and 21. Seems like the cameras on the A53 are better, so I'm leaning towards it.
Power off and on problem on the A52 is because of the power ic this is a common problem on the A series phone nowadays i cannot be solve 100% i suggest you to save some money and buy a higher end phone.
In India we have the A52s 5G which is powered by a Snapdragon 778g process and the regular A52 with a Snapdragon 720g. But still the A53 looks good since it's new.

Not sure how much these Geekbench scores can be relied upon. For one Kevin's results here show an approx 47% difference in single-core scores yet my A52 5G trails by only 14% (averaged after multiple tests), that's quite the disparity. An online search for scores (single/multi) for both devices also revealed these numbers can easily flip-flop even to the point of the predecessor taking the win. So my take from a performance perspective, the A52 5G / A53 5G are a lot more alike than they are dissimilar. Bottom line... Already own A52 5G carry on. Don't yet are in the market for a decent mid-ranger then A53 5G it is.
Same here...I benched the 53(in the tmobile store on a display model..LOL) and my 52 and the 53 did have a slightly higher single core score than the 52 but the 52 scored almost 100pts higher in multicore ...the 52 feels faster too...

You did a Great Job I bought the A53 5 G 8GB model and boy that was alot harder to buy than the 6GB model. I will say owning The 8 GB model with 256GB of hard Drive Space. It plays call of Duty Mobile and thats a very Graphic intense game and this phone plays it like a champ. The stereo speakers are amazing it has Dolby ATMOS and this sounds so amazing
a53 could've gotten slimer bezels like the s22 and s22+ those have flat display and considering a51 and 71 have silmer I don't know why would they make the bezels on the a52 and a72 thicker
I've got both. My a52 5g is dual sim with 8 gigs of ram 128 gig storage whilst the a53 5g is single sim 6 gig ram 128 gig storage, 53 has better 5g coverage in the same area I use my 52 so that's one down side to the a52 5g.
I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 star that is about that same peach color in my drawer. It's a completely different design though. It's from 2018 but it looks old. I used it for awhile. It was a decent phone. It should still work fine.

Benchmark says different also the a52 has had a year worth optimizing and is an old processor that's had years if optimizing even Samsung said it themselves the alm new 1280 exynos will receive way more optimizing as its the future of all its upcoming decivess in mid range
It would have been better if you do some speed test and actual camera comparison on your comparison videos.. you're basically just telling us the specs and differences without actually showing us in depth.. I can just go to gsmarena and read the specs differences if i want to.. a few app launch speed test and a few outdoor and lowlight photos would make this video better..
Go for A52s 5G if you can find it. It's the best option among the three. Have 120hz, SD 778g with adreno 642L, 8Gb ram and exactly same design. Battery is fairly decent as well along with headphone jack so you won't miss anything. But flagships just have a feel to it. S9+ would still feel superior in so many things
I have S7 Edge, I was thinking about buying an A52S a couple months ago, but wanted to wait for the 53, and now since its here, its obvious for me that Im gonna buy the 52S since the 53 is almost the same, for 150Euros more doesnt worth it. I dont play on it, for me what matters is the looks, the button arrangement, the in screen fingerprint scanner, and the 5G.
Well, the A53 trumps ! A52 simply because it will end up getting updates a year longer. That's why I waited until the debut of the 2022 devices before getting a phone.

I promise the only reason you can't see the finger prints is because of the color. I have the black A53 and it looks awful. I'm always cleaning of the back of my phone because of how it looks 🤮. But over all it really does have great performance, especially if you know how to take care of it and keep it software running as smooth as possible than it performs as well as falgships from 2-3 years ago

There's one major upside to having no auxiliary jack , never have to worry about breaking a wire on earbuds. Bluetooth is so much better than wired earbuds cause you don't have to tote your phone around the room with you while listening to music and there isn't no wires to break due to accidentally snagging the wire on something or the wires getting bent and eventually broken that way.
So, BEFORE I watching this I decided to go with the A53 instead of the the a52. However After watching this I was GOING to get the A52. But when I went to the store the A52 was more expensive than the A53 so I got the A53. 🙃

They're starting to act like some other OEM's I know where new reiterations of a model are met w/downgrades.

@@danieltalebi1040 hi. I use an A52S and must say that the battery life is pretty good. I use it as a normal phone, with a bit of TH-cam and for watching and streaming movies and music. Lasts me a good one and a half days.

You did a Great Job I bought the A53 5 G 8GB model and boy that was alot harder to buy than the 6GB model. I will say owning The 8 GB model with 256GB of hard Drive Space. It plays call of Duty Mobile and thats a very Graphic intense game and this phone plays it like a champ. The stereo speakers are amazing it has Dolby ATMOS and this sounds so amazing
a53 could've gotten slimer bezels like the s22 and s22+ those have flat display and considering a51 and 71 have silmer I don't know why would they make the bezels on the a52 and a72 thicker
The S22 ultra has the exact same camera 📷 don't forget that.

I have the A52 and I don't see any significant reason why I should upgrade this phone is excellent in what I use it for..
I've got both. My a52 5g is dual sim with 8 gigs of ram 128 gig storage whilst the a53 5g is single sim 6 gig ram 128 gig storage, 53 has better 5g coverage in the same area I use my 52 so that's one down side to the a52 5g.

Now do a comparison of the A52 "S" VS the a53...you'll be quite surprised
I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 star that is about that same peach color in my drawer. It's a completely different design though. It's from 2018 but it looks old. I used it for awhile. It was a decent phone. It should still work fine.

It would have been better if you do some speed test and actual camera comparison on your comparison videos.. you're basically just telling us the specs and differences without actually showing us in depth.. I can just go to gsmarena and read the specs differences if i want to.. a few app launch speed test and a few outdoor and lowlight photos would make this video better..

Go for A52s 5G if you can find it. It's the best option among the three. Have 120hz, SD 778g with adreno 642L, 8Gb ram and exactly same design. Battery is fairly decent as well along with headphone jack so you won't miss anything. But flagships just have a feel to it. S9+ would still feel superior in so many things
I have S7 Edge, I was thinking about buying an A52S a couple months ago, but wanted to wait for the 53, and now since its here, its obvious for me that Im gonna buy the 52S since the 53 is almost the same, for 150Euros more doesnt worth it. I dont play on it, for me what matters is the looks, the button arrangement, the in screen fingerprint scanner, and the 5G.

Well, the A53 trumps ! A52 simply because it will end up getting updates a year longer. That's why I waited until the debut of the 2022 devices before getting a phone.

I promise the only reason you can't see the finger prints is because of the color. I have the black A53 and it looks awful. I'm always cleaning of the back of my phone because of how it looks 🤮. But over all it really does have great performance, especially if you know how to take care of it and keep it software running as smooth as possible than it performs as well as falgships from 2-3 years ago
Headphone jack is a deal breaker.
The way how you compare the camera modules between the phones is basically pointless - you need to show still images of photos made with them

There's one major upside to having no auxiliary jack , never have to worry about breaking a wire on earbuds. Bluetooth is so much better than wired earbuds cause you don't have to tote your phone around the room with you while listening to music and there isn't no wires to break due to accidentally snagging the wire on something or the wires getting bent and eventually broken that way.
Stick with older cheaper way better chip set and headphone jack
So, BEFORE I watching this I decided to go with the A53 instead of the the a52. However After watching this I was GOING to get the A52. But when I went to the store the A52 was more expensive than the A53 so I got the A53. 🙃
