@@gusion9367 I have an A52s 5g. Yes, I consider this a downgrade. I would not buy the A53 because my personal requirement when buying a phone is 3.5mm jack + expandable storage. I thought it was bad enough that my phone didn't come with the 25W charger + USB C to USB C cable. It used to be that these things were included, at least until the tech has been fully introduced (no, I never had any USB C to C cables before). Also, I still do use wired headphones. Good luck finding a pair of bluetooth buds with the same quality as a pair of wired ones at the same price point.

especially since the processor is new and many games and applications apparently have not yet had time to optimize for it, especially since there are constant updates on the a53 with improved stability and performance.
The charger in the box is not even good. I have good fast chargers from Anker. I use those to charge both laptop and smartphones, no need for those weak chargers in the box

Awesome review brother, hit every point & very honestly. Although they're both pretty great midline phones, other than a few shots with the camera comparison the a53 definitely runs away with it. Especially in detail, look at roof lines, windows & such in background, 53 is much sharper. Even if same camera specs the chipset matters a lot in how pics are processed. Looking forward to more reviews.
I just got back from 10 days in Singapore and took over 250 pics with my a52 and after reviewing them this morning on my pc most of them look absolutely stunning with the 64mp cam,night,day,dusk,dawn they look great and definitely won't be upgrading. This is just another pointless money grabbing downgrade from Samscum to rake in money from the sheep that need the "latest",just like crapple do and if you used both phones together you couldn't tell the difference, NO 3.5 jack,charger,cover on the 53, GIVE ME A BREAK.I paid AU$599 for my A52 with the bonus earbuds worth 10 squillion dollars promo, very happy with that.

I don't get how the gaming side was bad. I got the a53 because I gave my a52 to my mom. And gaming is soo much better. A52 lagged and was dropping frames in most mildly intensive games, and a53 is soo much smoother. I guess they fixed it since launch.
Thanks for sharing your experiences dear Tosa. Coming from a pixel 3A and LG G8, I was accidentally sent an A52 (instead of an A53) and I wasn't impressed with the performance with the A52. The G8 and A52 have the same generation processors, only one is clocked higher, so when an application locks your processor to 100%, as it so happens, the A52 will use more power, and it will tend to, even in moderate tasks. GPS, video recording, music playing ect, all things of great value. I don't play video games, only research, and where the G8 lagged, the A52 also lagged, only a bit less. A "bit less" or just a tad less isn't what I was looking for. The newer manufacturing process will usually give a better result and the optimizations helps also.

I actually think it's better to get an older flagship like Samsung note 10+ and have your peace. It's better and has a lot of features than A53 and it's almost the same price. The only thing it's missing it's the 120hz refresh rate.

@Valor Reviews just wanted to give you a heads up, theres a little typo mistake in the video in the battery section (the numbers of the battery mAh are vice versa), but still an awesome early look video. I guess the battery will improve in future monthly updates for the device... but can deffinetly still reccomend the A53 and the A52s, personally I would take the A52s because i've never been a fan of the exynos processor lineup (would rather pay a bit less for a phone that has 1 year less of softwre/security support).
There's difference but it's minor. On OneUI 4.1 you can use smart widgets (using multiple widgets with one widget space and being able to scroll through them) The ability to choose the amount of RAM to allocate for RAM plus is feature for One UI 4.1 There are some other changes but they're subtle

@@victorsoderu9491 not the case, my coworker has an A52 5G, yet my phone has better fast charging, better speaker output, it's smoother at 120hz, it takes better stabilization video because of Sd860, has 8GB ram and 256 GB storage, sd720g on the A52 has poor EIS even the OIS isn't enough, the best thing about the A52 is the night mode for images, but I can take better daily light images with Gcam, it's the amoled which is brighter than my LCD and the battery drain is less and it has water resistance those are better than my Poco X3 Pro yet my Poco costs less than the A52 5G. Overall if you want to take great video , great images, get a fast processor even if its for editing video and images, get more internal storage and ram for a cheaper price POCO is the device. I hardly game on it yet many people I work with praise its capabilities. Especially on video stabilization and image quality during daylight for both rear and selfie cam. I will also get many android updates due to better custom ROM support for Xiaomi than for Galaxy devices

look at the detail and color in the flowers and the leaves, especially when there is skin tone in the foreground. A53 is clear winner.

A54 5g is amazing ive had it unplugged for 6hrs and i habe 3hrs sot and 3hrs screen off time and its on 76%. All day battery

I have to know if samsung fixed the haptic feedback. The vibration on the a52 was terrible. This will Be the deciding factor for me
Not upgrading for sure ,plus I like my 3.5mm jack
