The amusing thing here is that anyone familiar with the Moonlight Sonata knows that Shannon "plays" the it with so much disdain and annoyance. The ladies are oblivious; "She plays beautifully"...
If you knew how many years i've been wondering what that song was from and called you would know just how much I appreciate you citing the name of the song on your description! I LOVE this song, and this movie! Thank you.
I’ve been wanting to learn how to play this for decades now and I finally am. It’s not exactly the easiest piece of music to teach yourself. A challenge indeed!!
@frogmama29 Ugh, it was SUCH a struggle for me to find out the song too! When I discovered what it was, I just had to post the scene and share it for those who didn't know. You're very welcome!
OMG i love you! I have been looking for the name of the that song for years!!!!!! Now all i have to do i find the sheet music lol or better yet the midi file
@xAmazonxValkyriex You're a saint. I knew it was the Banjo but I can't find the exact part where it sounds sped up, would you be able to help? Please?? By the way thank you so much for this, it's a godsend.
Well 1992 was before 1997.. and even Titanic (who I love) has been _influenced_ by many old films. In my opinion is a good movie overall but unoriginal, so many (and clear) "inspirations" from others movies.. that Charles Boyer and Jean Arthur scene, the original Titanic and the next two versions and probably this scene too .. the end product is great but even Titanic is poor man of something.
"Shannon! Good gracious, child!" would make a hilarious ringtone.
I like how she says, "no" and they all turn as if she was insane.
Steve R I like her playing most,,😁
Well, it's straight disobedience and rebellion. Of course they'd look at her as such, because values were a thing back then.
@@andrewhawkins8616 Unlike today !
For anyone interested. Shannons band music is from Gottshalks "The Banjo."
You put years of searching to rest, God Bless You.
1:05 - 1:44 "It's band music mother, it's very modern, it's from America!"
Everything good is from America 😊
It's funny how Steven was impressed by her band music rather than annoyed.
"WHY CANT YOU SAY YOU LIKE MY HAT, SHANNON??"
The amusing thing here is that anyone familiar with the Moonlight Sonata knows that Shannon "plays" the it with so much disdain and annoyance.
The ladies are oblivious; "She plays beautifully"...
I was thinking this exact thing. It sounded harsh, short, and annoyed
I live for this energy, fuck the system

What's the name of "Shannon's Band Music" song?
Stephen seems to be the only one who seems to like Shannon's piano playing
The second, fast song "The Banjo" by Gottschalk:

Shannon trying to have autonomy and the ladies not having it

What's the name of this band music?
I love how the villain/rival character is more like Tom Cruise than Tom Cruise is lol
I cannot find the second song the plays, the band music from America. the one she is speeding up???
"The Banjo" by Gottschalk. She's only playing the last minute or so.
@@puuxexil Thank you!!! I didn't listen to the whole song! This part in the movie is the last minute of The Banjo! Yay!!
