@musicanth yes man, great recording! ;) and yes again: these "old" recordings are taken from those wonderful cds. I never post a complete cd: I hope that helps, a little bit, to don't delete anything... they want to listen to the complete cd? not here! :D
There the better versions of Chopin 3 sonata players like Dinu Lipatti Oleg Boshcniakovich Pavel Egorov V.Ashkenazy Alexei Sultanov.Perlemuter had a bright Chopin piano sound
One of the very best recordings of the Chopin B minor! Perlemuter does so many things that just take my breath away....

@@themoroccanpianist8953 Just listen. You'll hear them :-)
@@JamesVaughan ok
@@JamesVaughan you are right , he has a unique way of playing the piano and interpreting Chopin
Probably the most beautiful 3rd mouvement of this sonata I've ever heard.
Bravo M.Perlmuter, such good memories of his recitals.
This is marvelous. Everything sounds... natural.
Perlemuter ranks among the finest Chopin players...
Pupil of the great Alfred Cortot, perhaps the greatest Chopin interpreter of all time.
@@JamesVaughan Cortot is the greater interpreter of Chopin ?
@@JamesVaughan YES! he was...!
Une magnifique interprétation sobre et sensible
I have never heard such a largo ! wow , so smooth, just like velvet
Beautiful with clarity of expression.

Profoundly beautiful.
I love Perlemuter's Chopin! Is this from the BBC Legends recording?

Lipatti's recording is dry as hell .
Katsaris has an excellent recording of Op. 58.
