Ever since I first ate their Char Kway Teow in 2017, I have stopped eating CKT in Singapore.
It's dry, less oily and I'm sure they dont add the sweet black sauce that the SG version has. Love the addition of chives and taugeh. My daughter too loves it as I always pack 1 packet home.
I dont think it's halal as the Indonesian helpers are only helping in taking orders and serving customers.❤

Pin ming xuan is the worst dim sum I had in jb. A lot of msg and very salty. Totally not recommended.
There are so many nice dim sum from that store. You should try chicken feet, century egg porridge and many others. Hope you can try others again.

I don’t think that’s green onion in the char kuey teow.. Chives are the usual greens used.
For Pin Ming Xuan, the 罐汤饺is superb. Cheap nnvalue for money. There are scallops, mushrooms, crab meat and other ingredients inside the thin skin. The soup for this 罐汤饺 out of the world too.
I'll give it a try next time!
