I can almost smell the fresh lumber, one of my favorite smells! Nice drone work and nice jump over the ditch!! Beat up body at retirement - yep! Lugging heavy steel bars in my teens, some construction work in my 20's, a lifetime of playing hockey, and getting crushed between 3 cars on an icy road in my 40's.. I have a few aches and pains! Haha! Save your body.
Yes, that’s a perfect example of what I was talking about 🤣 I used to race motorcycles in my teenage and 20-year-old years and quite a few injuries. One helicopter ride unfortunately I have some aches and pains just from that 🤦🏻♂️. Funny you mention about the smell of the fresh wood. That is my favorite part of walking into the building👍.
The place looks great Tom. I like the roof. You'll be glad you installed the snow guards, they make a big difference.
We don’t get much snow here, but you never know could get that random 12 inch snowfall 🤣
Looking great!! This is the most exciting stage in my opinion. Love seeing all of the utilities coming in. Gets your imagination going thinking of what it will be like to actually live in it!

Moving forward nicely Tom. Nice looking roof. And gunna look great with the siding colour. That stone you’re talking about maybe the same as what we call here rock dust. It’s great stuff for a driveway. Packs hard, but easy to level.

It is coming along so nicely Tom! I never thought about a hanging light fixture and the wind. Good work on the machine. I have never tried anything like that but I can sure see how that could be helpful! Like the colors you have selected as well man!

Man, that’s looking good bro. Love the big porch area and cathedral entrance. A chandelier would look awesome, but you would have to secure it with chains at four points because of your wind events, but that might take away from the look.

There’s 1 foot overhang with vented soffit also a ridge vent in the top of the roof. I think it should be pretty good. What is your thoughts?
