I'll never be able to express how grateful i am for your music guys ... Throughout all these years, it allowed me to escape from all of the things that blur my mind on a daily basis. I've been suffering from depression for 10 years and still am, but your music is one of the few things that make me feel at peace in my mind ... Just know that you and your work hold a special place in my heart. Congrats on the new project and much love to you guys
Hey brother, I hope that are able to transcend that one day. Remember that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. And it is often pain that is the greatest of all teachers. Pain can teach us, evolve us, and expand us if we let it. Never forget all of the good in the world, the Love, the beauty.... Hammock helps us remember.
We are riding the same wave 🌊 friend, we’re not alone. This music really expresses those feelings that are so difficult to explain and articulate to others. I understand God bless you 🙏. Thanks Hammock.🙏❤️
10 years with Hammock, where my soul finds peace, have been dealing with depression, anxiety, insomnia, relationship issue, mental health etc, Hammock always get me through phases, and still will.

I’m not an emotional guy. Always hide my feelings and emotions. 1 minute into “heavy Laden” and I’m crying my eyes out. It’s like all the hurt and pain I’ve felt for years that’s been bottled up just came out at once. Thank you. I needed that

Finding your music almost 10 years ago saved my life.. without it I dont know where I would be. Probably dead. Was bad into dope. Your music was what let my brain turn off while withdrawaling and essentially changed my way of looking at life. So thank you.
First Hammocks songs I've listened was "i can almost see you" and "cold front" this was about 8 or so years ago. Man, can't describe what mixture of feelings this brings to my soul, like mixture of peace, serenity and eternal primal energy. Sometimes it brings tears in my eyes, sometimes - smile on my face. Thank you for this art, this music really helps me to keep on with this hard, yet beautiful life
Hammock has been a soundtrack to my life for a long time. It was playing as I wrote my two books. My wife and I sleep to it as soothing background on our Echo. Oblivion Hymns was my first obsession, then the brilliant, deep triumvirate of Mysterium, Universalis and Silencia. That drove me back to your earlier stuff - all brilliant. I love Stars of the Lid, Winged Victory for the Sullen, Dead Texan, Sigur Ros - but I always return to Hammock. As I type this I am listening through Elsewhere for the first time. No words. Thanks for the glorious sounds....healing is so necessary in these disturbing, bizarre, angry times.
For those curious about Marc Byrd, the founder of Hammock Band, look it up later on youtube for a great documentary and a rare podcast interview telling how he is profoundly connected with the mystery e and how beautiful is his faith. (and I'm not talking about religion here).
Listening to this album was different. It felt like a "welcome home" experience, it's hard to explain. All your music hits differently, but this album truly stood out for me and I was in awe for the last 30minutes. When I heard in the Heavy Laden/Shape of Longing, that sealed my experience. I will forever remember this.
When the guitars break through on some of the less ambient tracks - those are the moments that remind me of Hammock's early music. And that's when "welcome home" effect kicks in for me. Indeed, it looks like we're all feeling this album similarly.
Sou brasileiro, e descobri esse tipo de música ouvindo a DI FM.. nunca mais quis ouvir outra coisa. Passing Away mudou minha vida.❤️🇧🇷 Era a calma que minha alma precisava.
I have been following hammock for only 3 years, i don't know much about "early hammock vibes", but I can for sure declare "Elsewhere" is by far the most enlightened album. With this, Hammock has finally succeeded to reach salvation in God's Heaven. This is the first album that was able to give me clear visions while i was trying to get sleep. I was able to see eveything green colored in an underwater scenery. That was amazing. I could only feel inner peace.
Been a Hammock fan since Kenotic...Raising Your Voice was my clincher. I'll forever be a fan. These albums have been putting me to sleep and pulling me out of darkness for almost 20yrs now. Thank you guys, SO much.

Hammock's music always manages to warm up my whole being in just the right way with those lovely blissful melodies and notes of serenity 💚 thank you so much! perfect soul medicine
god I love browsing the stories people share when it comes to how your music has impacted their lives. I share that sentiment, been listening since 2006 and the Hammock discography is a pinnacle part of my life, from augmenting and romanticizing the highest of the highs, to being the never ending light at the end of the tunnel during the lowest of the lows, You guys have been without a doubt one of the more impactful soundtracks to my life and have been there as a constant while I've became the man I am today. Marc and Andrew Thank you so, so fucking much.
Last year at this time, when the pandemic was raging out there in the world, I was creating a ritual of calming myself by listening to Hammock every single day. On December 4th something unthinkable happened and the song "The Night You Caught on Fire" helped me through that extra spoonful of salt in my COVID-induced wounds. Thanks for that, guys. Your music has healing powers, to this I can attest! 💙
My mother loved your music as I do she was 87, she passed June 4th... Now when I sit in the garden and listen to your music I feel her near, I reflect on our past and I look forward to the future when I will be with her again. This allows me to feel, remember, dream, hope and sorrow and grieve!
Ive been listening to hammock since I was a freshman in high school. Your music has gotten me through tough times. It gives me a feeling of a melancholic happiness that reminds me of times that were happy and sad and times that I wish I could change. This is the music in which I feel like I am floating in a vast colorful and warm void alone with my thoughts that I can always come back to.
The way the emotion swells in the wall of sound, it feels as if all of life is looking at you. Humbled, connected, somehow happy to be crushed under an endless and indefinite wave.
I've always loved you guys and I'll keep loving you. It doesn't matter if you haven't got a massive following, your music is the best, it's the medicine that I would ever want. I'm so grateful to you guys ❤️❤️
Thank you so for your expression. The mind made sense of self fell away a few months ago and your music was a very beautiful part of the liberation. 🎶😌
Hammock, the soundtrack of our spiritual development. You guys literally lift up our spirits to where they belong. When I listen to Hammock, this fallen world means nothing to me anymore and the higher spheres of joy and wisdom open up and deliver me from the wicked reality that surrounds us. Thank you so much Hammock for what you have given to me. Gratefull forever.

Your music has been helping me study through anesthesia school. The BEST study music, your music is on repeat and its helped me through many hours. Thanks!
Love the album title. It delivers my soul towards there. Even if with this bag of skin I find myself here, I am floating on these waves you created, to a better place. I'm grateful, yet again, guys!
