I'll never be able to express how grateful i am for your music guys ... Throughout all these years, it allowed me to escape from all of the things that blur my mind on a daily basis. I've been suffering from depression for 10 years and still am, but your music is one of the few things that make me feel at peace in my mind ... Just know that you and your work hold a special place in my heart.
Congrats on the new project and much love to you guys

Hey brother, I hope that are able to transcend that one day.
Remember that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. And it is often pain that is the greatest of all teachers.
Pain can teach us, evolve us, and expand us if we let it.
Never forget all of the good in the world, the Love, the beauty....
      Hammock helps us remember.

First Hammocks songs I've listened was "i can almost see you" and "cold front" this was about 8 or so years ago. Man, can't describe what mixture of feelings this brings to my soul, like mixture of peace, serenity and eternal primal energy. Sometimes it brings tears in my eyes, sometimes - smile on my face. Thank you for this art, this music really helps me to keep on with this hard, yet beautiful life

Listening to this album was different. It felt like a "welcome home" experience, it's hard to explain. All your music hits differently, but this album truly stood out for me and I was in awe for the last 30minutes. When I heard in the Heavy Laden/Shape of Longing, that sealed my experience. I will forever remember this.

When the guitars break through on some of the less ambient tracks - those are the moments that remind me of Hammock's early music. And that's when "welcome home" effect kicks in for me.
Indeed, it looks like we're all feeling this album similarly.

I have been following hammock for only 3 years, i don't know much about "early hammock vibes", but I can for sure declare "Elsewhere" is by far the most enlightened album. With this, Hammock has finally succeeded to reach salvation in God's Heaven. This is the first album that was able to give me clear visions while i was trying to get sleep. I was able to see eveything green colored in an underwater scenery. That was amazing. I could only feel inner peace.

god I love browsing the stories people share when it comes to how your music has impacted their lives.
I share that sentiment, been listening since 2006 and the Hammock discography is a pinnacle part of my life, from augmenting and romanticizing the highest of the highs, to being the never ending light at the end of the tunnel during the lowest of the lows, You guys have been without a doubt one of the more impactful soundtracks to my life and have been there as a constant while I've became the man I am today.

Hammock has been a soundtrack to my life for a long time. It was playing as I wrote my two books. My wife and I sleep to it as soothing background on our Echo. Oblivion Hymns was my first obsession, then the brilliant, deep triumvirate of Mysterium, Universalis and Silencia. That drove me back to your earlier stuff - all brilliant. I love Stars of the Lid, Winged Victory for the Sullen, Dead Texan, Sigur Ros - but I always return to Hammock. As I type this I am listening through Elsewhere for the first time. No words. Thanks for the glorious sounds....healing is so necessary in these disturbing, bizarre, angry times.

Any chance of a CD? I hate new technology and buying "computer code". Miss the days of being able to hold something in my hands, and flip through pages of printed words and artwork. ...AND in the worst case scenario ; be able to hook up a car battery to a converter to a cd player(or whatever) to an amp and out to some speakers , and listen to this beauty............ I am not old. Just practical and able to see the writing on the wall. Life has gotten too easy and convenient. Exactly why it will all go away so easily. ......PEACE.
...And remember to hold on to your human love, soul & humanity. ...."TheY" are coming for it and will get most of us. ...........

Wish so much that they'd go back to the sound of Departure Songs. I've been saying it for like ten years now, so I guess there's no hope. Such a shame. It's easily their best album and by a wide, wide margin. The ambient/drone stuff is pretty but gets boring fast. Departure Songs keeps you completel immeresed from start to finish.

In the hereafter. Still great music fellows; i personally really enjoyed the piano sounds in some of these songs a much more mature sound indeed. Thanks hammock for this thought provoking mediation called music. Jeff

Can we talk about how "What you need isn't there" can probably be contender for one of Hammocks best songs?

I really like "we could have been beautiful again" off everything and nothing. I love that song. It has made me cry several times.

I wanted to thank you for this album, but especially for "What you need isn't there". I didn't know I've been waiting my whole life for this piece, tears were streaming down my face while I was listening to it the first time because I realised it expressed all the feelings and emotions I'd kept hidden in my heart for so long and couldn't put them into words and it finally gave my soul peace. Never stop making this heavenly music❤❤❤

Masterpiece designers. Anytime I start having anxiety or get in my head way too much ...everytime I go back to you guys and your music seems to straighten it all out and also super inspiring when it comes to writing my own music. Big sky!! (Fav pedal all day).

Marc and Andrew are back with another classic. This album definitely feels different than their last few. It feels like a return, a warm hug. It feels like exactly what I needed in these times. Thank you Hammock.
