Thanks. I haven't been able to find a way to manually enter a name. I can manually enter a number, but the only option I have found to enter a name is by voice. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
I think you have manually make the name for each individual number that is in your contact list. I'll see if I can mess around with one when I get a chance to. The newer systems transfer your contact list right from your phone and transfer the numbers AND the names. The system in this video is much more tedious to operate compared to the newer ones.
Some phones will allow you to transfer contacts via Bluetooth. I'll be honest though, I haven't come across many that work though. The system in this video is one of Toyota's older systems and doesn't work as well as the newer systems. I'll pay around with one when I get some time. It probably won't be until 6/1 because this is the last week of the month and it gets crazy busy. If I figure something out, I'll let you know.

I agree. The newer system with display audio now loads all contacts at once. FInally!

That's the easy part, but I see the display still shows "No Name". Is there a way to display the actual name?

Mine always says "no name" too..i tried to import my Blackberry phonebook, comes up with the same error.
I tried to transfer the contacts via bluetooth.
But i couldnt transfer it to FJ toyota.
I wish if someone knows how to do it.

Having to load them one by one is ridiculous. Hyundai, Ford, and probably most others can batch load contacts via bluetooth. Lame...
