Just bought a used 2013 and it you use voice command only it will only do media no phone calls with a iPhone 7s or newer. Your method with the dial for manual input and hybrid voice worked for both!

I follow these instructions, but what is the sequence for reconnecting a phone that has already been paired once with the system? it seems odd that one would have to go through all these steps each time one enters the vehicle.

My iPhone 4S paired fine, and works if I initiate the call from my phone, but that is not "hands free" I cannot seem to access my phones contact list through the Sienna's bluetooth.
On my 2012 Camry, I can simply push the BT button and say "call George Smith at home"
In my 2013 Sienna it only seems to want to call from the contacts stored in the vans own system. Please tell me how to reach my iPhone contact list !

Hey there, thanks for the vid, good job. I;m looking for how to get my contacts from my phone into the vehicles phone system, or for the vehicle to use the list.
I have a 2012 Highlander I just bought, and it's all very similar, basically identical. I have it paired, the tunes work, the phone works. It says I can import by contact list, only it doesn't work. I can put them in one at a time, figured that out. I'm hoping someone knows how to get their droids contact list in without having to program each one. I think it just reads from the phone. I had a 2016 Tacoma, and it would let me call anyone on my contact list by just saying "call whomever". Thanks
