Textured spray paint is a game changer when it comes to people criticising 3D prints for layer lines as it hides that up and really lends itself to all the quick techniques like this. It goes to show that you can go a long way with what's essentially just a base colour and an assortment of weathering. A lot of people I've spoken to say they'd like to do more terrain but don't really have the time with all their other models that need painting but you really can turn it out quickly and to a decent standard with techniques like this. Some quality hobby content right here for anyone on the fence about adding terrain making/painting to their skillset.
My favorite thing to do with bigger terrain pieces like buildings is mist some thin burnt umber ink over just the bottom of the piece to create a gradient of built up dirt near the ground where you'd get mud kicked up by rain. Thin ink applied sparingly can also be good for building up variation of tone like you're showing here. I swear the best terrain/weathering is done with multiple passes of quick and easy things like this rather than needing finesse and concentration.

Making painting terrain fun again! The end result looks good too!
Gonna use this for some Battletech terrain.

You need to work with white spirits, but doing this same thing with cheap oil paints it will be as fast I think and can also emulate some fancy AK weathering effects. Also gret tutorial

Yes, but petroleum based paints and thinners need to be applied over a varnished surface due to the material porosity, which I think is a step beyond for new painters.

Yes, they stock it, but you may need to shop alternate online stores as not every Bunnings will have it.
