This is why Legend Spyro has a mana meter. If he had infinite juice like his classic counterpart, the world wouldn't stand a chance against him. The guy can already take many hits from a battleaxe without his Sparx protecting him.
These two are like Avatars Aang and Korra. You know, since they control multiple elements.

The earth element is so OP in A New Beginning. LOL!
You mean the Earth Blast? Sure it is, but it cost so much to use.
Though I don't think I can speak for infinite breath Earth Blast.
*And* in Eternal Night. If you spam square, you can kill bosses so *EASILY!* 💚 If *only* I knew that when I was younger!

I also like how the tempo, the effects, and the game itself became slow and the framerate choppy when you unleashed the Fury Attacks, as it makes them appear even more powerful. This holds especially true for the Tainted Lunar (what I prefer to call TEN's Dark Aether) Fury Waves, since the energy spires surrounding Dark Spyro's Dark Sphere are reminiscent of wormholes, giving it the aura (pun intended) that Dark Spyro really is influencing the very fabric of the cosmos through his twisted state... *shudders in awe*
Spyro’s furies in ANB & TEN are so *EPIC!* Some of the best things I’ve seen in my whole *LIFE!* 😃🙌💜

I literally laughed so hard that I could hear my spleen churning along with my laughter when you used up all of your mana in showcasing the Earth Flail and realized your folly too late when you had to reset to get all your mana back to showcase the Earth Pound in a separate sequence! XD

The electricity element is my favorite element in TLoS trilogy. It's extremely powerful, especially in A New Beginning. I like the fire, ice and earth elements too.
So Convexity is basically a Dragon Equivilant of a Kamehameha? Awesome.
And the secondary dark aether ability in The eternal night is the dragon equivalent of wolf fang fist (if it connects with an enemy).

One thing I must complain about the video is the use of the shadow element in a night environment.

Just the video I needed! Never played the legend of Spyro trilogy at all and wish to someday (or hope it gets remastered since it’s been long enough for one anyway and plus it would be great to see the level designs in a new engine). What interests me is the fact that these games more so have combat built into it and these breaths evolved over the course of this trilogy into weapons that help with dealing with hordes of enemies. Heck there is a chance that this rebooted trilogy could rival other games of this same formula if possible! Plus this helps learning how the breaths work as well

0:14 Do this to an enemy at point blank range as you jump into them and the entire screen blows up while all the enemies get burned AND blown back in slow motion, It was awesome. I swear the best part of these games were the explosions.

Is Cynder a wind dragon that gained additional powers due to Malefor's corruption? Because wind doesn't seem like an uncommon power.
That’s what I always assumed. It could be likely. Since the Chronicler had said that in Malefor’s youth he had breathed wind before. So it’s pretty clear that it’s common. I think cynder would have been a wind dragon.
I wonder if Cynder’s colours were changed when she was corrupted or if that’s just how wind dragons look.
Nebula 248 they did. The person who designed cynder had said that her entire design was the product of her corruption. Which means that Cynder’s color palette and markings aren’t genetic. She got those from her corruption.
It would be very interesting to see what she would’ve looked like if she wasn’t corrupted, it would probably have something to do with the colour on wind’s elemental stone that you see in dotd

I like Cynder especially in the Legend of Spyro 3 because She had a wonderful Powers when i play

+Kayla J. The footage is from an emulator (pcsx2), which I recommend if you have a good computer; quality is much better. I did not long ago buy a disc though, I got it off ebay pretty cheap.

These games could do with some sort of remake. But honestly, I hope it has more fun with itself if it does. I'd prefer Spyro to be more comedic rather than overly serious.

DOTD: . . . Why did they remove the fury
Bet it had something to do regarding budget cuts.
Because Fury in DOTD gives you fast regenerating magic and those beam elemental powers for short time what fits the gameplay lot better than 2 dragons making huge explosions at same time.

Too bad those cool effects won't save you from imbalanced difficulty in Eternal Night.
ANB & TEN look better on the PS2. Fight me. But PS3 DotD is *NICE!* Still prefer the previous two entries however in almost every way. (Furies, combat, breaths, art style, graphics, epicness & soundtrack.)

But what exactly is Convexity?
Its a cosmic power that comes from a dimension between dark and light... Its YinYan in essence. You can have a light energy Convexity, a dark energy Convexy, and the normal Convexy which is a mixture of both.
its confirmed that the Convexity element the fans use is actually named Aether.
the spiritual matter the very universe is made of and the 'true element' of The Purple Dragon of Legend. Its power resides within its connection to the cosmos and specifically to 'spirit energy'. as such, since its above the terrestrial elements, one can consider Aether as a celestial element. there is light and dark aspects of the same element.
Light Aether: energy in its purest form and the true power of the Purple Dragon. It has strong connections to light, life, holy might, and cosmic energy. Light Aether can be projected, moved, repelled, altered and even transferred, (as might be the case with a Purple Dragon lending its power or healing another by transferring its own energy).
Dark Aether: The untamed power of Dark Aether resembles that of an atom smasher; it dismantles a target at the atomic level, literally "unmaking" it. Its magic leaves behind destructive and withering effects.

@@1DAR26 No, that's why it's been called Convexity for so long because they never explained it in ANB onward, it's just an ability Spyro suddenly gets a few phases into Cynder in the stage Convexity, her darker Fire Fury triggered him, think those magenta particles are Aether but again it's not revealed.
@@artistanthony1007 yeah. I can see the Light and Dark Aether being true for that universe as both Spyro and Cinder has a different color Aether in DoTD.
Can we all agree that the Ice fury attack from A New Beginning is trash? Like, it gets the job done, sure, but compared to the others, it's animation is lackluster.

I wish Eternal Night was out for x360 It was a terrific game in PS2 and there are plenty worse 360 games like that failed attempt of Avatar copying Naruto Ninja Storm
It’s a shame that the combat (and breath attacks) *suck* for the most part in DotD. 😞
The combat was enhanced in DoTD. You could chain multiple attacks with their grabs.
