as a person who rides goofy I find it ALOT easier to spin the bike clockwise. It also seems you also do this because when you demonstrate you do it counter-clockwise and your left foot forward

This is mostly preference but it’s the general rule in bmx. It may seem easier to spin it the other way but catching the tailwhip will be much more difficult. If you do it on the direction I mentioned you have easy access to catch and stop the bike with your dominant (front) foot versus trying to do the same with the rear.

@@pytelbikes so why do you do it the opposite way you recommend

I’m right foot forward and I spin to counter clock like I said in the vid and demonstrated?

I think anywhere between 720-760mm is perfect and whatever rise you desire. It will be slightly easier on a rigid fork since there will be no bounce. I think if you try consistently for about a week you should get close/land the tailwhip. I don’t recommend going for longer than an hour at a time as you get tired and start to get lazy with it. Your bike should be perfect for learning this trick though.
