Awesome technique! it's quite hard for me to practice the tail whip lying on my back 🤣I think I'm not getting the technique right because the bike is always resting heavy on my feet. Perhaps I should lower my seat fully?
Just give it some time your body need to feel the right way how to do it🙌 No I think it’s not about your seat with taller seat your legs just going a little bit higher so it’s shouldn’t be a problem. All the weight of your bike should be on your arms. Maybe you can try to learn how to catch balance holding a bike only with your hands like doing long no foot
Hello, I hope you are very well. these steps since I started practicing tailwhip I'm doing well. I only needed the last step and it helped me to place my foot on the crank when the bike is at 300. I only need to close my rear foot quickly. and I am more confident that if I can do it.
I don't get why this has so many dislikes, this is one of the most in depth how to's I've seen on this trick that actually explains a lot of the technique that others don't.
7:39 at the top left video, this is where i am stuck on this trick, My frame lands close to my leg and sometimes the rear axle hits my left leg. I don't know how to control my legs to land them to the cranks. Can you give me some advices? Thank you very much
Great stuff man , keep up with this channel 👍 The best advice is keeping the bike level and catching with your feet , thank you 🤙 Make Foot Jam tailwhip next 🙏
Riders these days make whips look like nothing. It's easier for them to whip than bar spin. Triple whips on box jumps and quarter pipes. I know it's the newer bikes, but still. However, they are ugly and have no style. I'd rather see Taj do a whip over a dirt jump than a kid doing a triple whip into resi landings. We never used resi landings except one, in the middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania. This guy gives good tips. I used to try to push my bike under me. That may have been why I wasn't good at them. I was able to get close to bunny hop whips, but had trouble getting my leg over the frame.
True sometimes its actually easier to do tailwhip😅 There is many guys looking only for fast whips and everything but there is still guys who is more about quality not about quantity🙌 At the end of the day its only your choice About resi I think its nothing bad about it if you still able to do it on a real jump when you need it. It's just modern bmx it's simply much more safe I think it's like pads or helmet and there is nothing bad about pads and helmet😅🙌 it is really hard to learn them on flat and thanks for the comment❤️
@@irekrizaevbmx I'm from the Philly burbs. Way back when only Woodward had the resi landingsm and foam pit. Cranmer's parents built a park in Jersey and they had a foam pit a little later on. I'm not bashing it. I wish we had them, actually. My body wouldn't be in pain 24/7 if we did. (Even though I hurt myself mostly street riding.) I hated foam pits because they smelled terrible. Like a 5 year old un washed knee pad and it sucked to climb out of them. The resi landings are cool. I was mostly into street, but I started off dirt jumping and doing tons of tricks. I would have loved to get whips down and have done them down steps or something. Never quite got them dialed, though. Over a hip was a bit easier, but in the era I rode, our bikes were 50 lbs.
Excellent video! Very informative 👏
Thank sou so much for your Content!
Best learn how to tell it video🎉😊

I am going to keep trying the back method for learning whips. There one of my life goals is to get this trick dialed.
I've never seen the lie down method before. I might have to try that.
Yeah try it, works so good
Can you Please do a barspin video 🙏 respect and thanks

I almost lost a brand new pair of wireless headphones in a foam pit lol
