Looooooove these! I just started index card collages. Figuring out what to use in each piece is a VERY messy process for me, so I've started gathering the elements for several when inspiration hits and then clean up. Later, I can glue/complete them at my leisure with minimal mess.
My mind went into at least 4 different directions/rabbit trails. Great idea you had! Might put together a wee 'kit' for the great grands to use while car riding. . . and a portable carry all for me - a kit to play with while dr office visiting, etc.
