- VW Tiguan 2, MY2018 - activation of 10 colours for instrument cluster and multimedia device illumination
From factory only blue colour is available for instrument cluster and multimedia device illumination. With activation of additional 9 colours (can be set according to owners preferences) illumination color can be changed via car settings. ALso Active Info Display graphics and dynamic dots can be activated.

Tovarniško ima avtomobil le modro barvo osvetlitve instrumente plošče in multimedijske naprave. Z vključitvijo dodatnih devetih barv (po izbiri lastnika) se lahko barva osvetlitve izbere preko nastavitev avtomobila. Dodatno se lahko spremeni tudi grafika merilnikov in vključit aktivne pikice.

hello how does that have to be coded with me there are no colors in it - ambient lighting is but I can already choose only there are no colors to choose from!

MTL - well done thanks. How did you get the 10kmh / mph increments on your speedo ? Mine shows in 20mph increments only.

Odlično opravljeno! Nekaj kar prvič vidim je, da pri R Designu prikazuje tudi vmesne hitrosti, npr. med 60 in 80kmh. A je to stvar vašega programiranja ali ima Tiguan pač tako?
Nastaviti je možno več grafičnih dizajnov in od tega je odvisen prikaz vmesnih hitrosti.

I just bought a 2019 Tiguan SEL Premium R Line and I have to admit the white ambient lighting is boring. The red ambient lighting is nice. How does this work and would this void your warranty to the instrument cluster and multimedia screen? I know many of the bumper to bumper warranties are easily voided out if you mess around with things and it's not done by a authorized VW service department.
You need to check your bumper to bumper warranty conditions.
Did you figure out if the warranty is voided? I have a 2020 Tiguan and it would be nice to change the ambient lighting.
This only changes the colour on the screen not ambient light. Tiguan only comes with white LED's.

I was told you need to get it “coded” by vw/Audi Indy shop Or 3rd party. BMW offers apps from your phone. Try obd2eleven with the WiFi ob2 reader.
