Hello that is alright, during my transit tour, there are also people who arrived 30mins before the tour. Just make sure you have already booked for the transit tour
I only have a backpack so I brought it with me while on the tour but you can leave your bags at the airport or others also bring their carry on with them in the bus and just leave it there when we go off the bus. It’s totally safe
Hi, I booked my transit tour from discoverqatar.qa website and for the money, most of the stores accept card payments but if you need cash, you can do that from the airport or you can ask the tour guide for assistance

Hello mam. Where did you apply a3 visa? I mean same day when you arrive in doha? Because where planning to get a3 visa also, we are resident in Schengen countries. We have layover for 16hrs. Its possible to apply a3 visa upon arrival? But we will not go for the tour. We will go out our own going to the city. Thank you!
hello, I applied prior to my travel from hayya.qa website. It may be possible to apply upon arrival but I'm not so sure for the process about this and for the tour po, yes you can tour the city on your own.

On my experience, no one escorted me to the immigration I went there on my own as soon as I arrived in Qatar

This response may be late but if you are not going outside the airport then you don’t need a transit visa
