I don't think the worst person on earth should be tortured for how long that guy was. It's so weird that people come out of this episode even questioning the morality of that. Sure he did some bad stuff, but not and I quote from a guy from reddit who did the math: "If you assume they shut down for the day at 6pm Christmas Eve and are out of the office through Christmas Day and Boxing Day then return on the morning of the 27th at 6am, the simulation runs for 2.5 days meaning the simulation runs for 3.6 million years."
The worst thing is he couldn't even end it all like the other character could. It was pure inhumane torture and if you're even an "idk if it's bad" then you are a horrible non empathic person in my eyes.
Agreed. There is no crime that warrants even a fraction of the cruelty involved in that sort of punishment.
This is such an amazing episode. I've seen it many times and I'm always conflicted by how this episode makes me feel.

Black mirror makes me uneasy in the best way! Especially this episode. I was so happy to see the season 6 trailer drop, I'd given up hope. The next episode is one of my faves, I hope you like it too
Anyway, my opinion is that only the pregnant person has the final say. The partner can say what they think but in the end only the person who has to be pregnant for 9 months (which includes A LOT of physical damage to the body btw) can make that choice.

@@girlsdrinkfeckyou're making a generalization. You have no idea if somebody who gets an abortion would be upset if they didn't receive child support if they chose not to have an abortion. Personally, I have no problem having an abortion and I also believe that if I were to have the baby the man should have every right to withdraw his parental rights and not pay child support. If they change their mind down the road, that can be a discussion but it should include restitution of Child Support costs.

Its an *insanely* difficult subject, who gets the final say in whether a couple should abort when one half wants a baby and the other absolutely does not... I think the couple should really discuss it and deeply hear each other... but, and the end of the day, its the woman who has to carry. That changes your brain and your body. Plus, although this isnt the Dark Ages, pregnancy can still lead to horrifying health issues and even death. So she should get to decide. My heart goes out to the guys who want to be a dad, but its just not right to force someone to carry :(
Please don't compare cookies to abortion. It's completely different. One was a person with thoughts and feelings who had to suffer for millions of years, the other one is a being who can't even feel yet. It's completely different. Comparing those two is honestly imo worse than when people your average human to a fetus.
Look, I know you probably didn't mean anything bad by that, but I just commented this on your video since you brought it up, and might for the difference of other creators actually see and read this.
I see this. I am a creator. The show overall did the comparison, not me. Its a deep episode with strong meanings. And like humans we all take our own meaning and view points from it and build our own hypothesis. You have strong opinions and both comments you left which is fine. But what I took from it and what you apparently took from it are 2 different things. And that should be okay.
