When I visited in 2017, i stuck to fast food mostly, but the generic ones, mcdonalds, panda express, in n out etc, honestly food was just so expensive. but thats Vegas for you. Don't go to vegas if you cant afford it right
I used to live in Las Vegas and eating out at that time was quite reasonable. About the time my wife and I left the expensive food really started to be much more common. Eating out became much more of a special occasion.
One of the best places to have a truly classic dinner in Las Vegas is the Stake house at the top of Binnion's downtown on Freemont Street, it's the one place I never miss on a trip to LV, the whole experience is "old Vagas" the red over stuffed booths the staff is dressed to the 9's and the food is incredible
Walked the strip many times, my favourite place ❤ keep ya eye out for Elvis on his mobility scooter 😂 but the best few afternoon hours are watching Big Elvis at Piano bar Harrahs, bloody brilliant 😊
On the machine there is an option to leave a lower tip you have to go into customize tip and you can leave whatever you want no tip if you wish but they won’t tell you that but it’s possible tipping is not mandatory it’s always optional.
Lee - when you do the helicopter tour of the grand canyon & the hoover dam make sure that you do the "dam tour" of the inside of the dam it's interesting and brilliant plus if you can, book the late afternoon tour - when you get back the strip will be lighting up, it looks so much better at night & will be great for you to film - have a great time mate.
New York New York my old stomping ground. The last time I was in Vegas was in 2016 & loved every minute of it. If it is still there Lee you need to try Tom’s Urban which is part of New York New York Looking forward to all your Las Vegas vlogs & want to applaud you for your dedication to the editing side of your vlogs. 16 hours now that is a mission, well done Lee. Onwards my friend 👏🏻
Not a bit of rubbish. Incredible. Puts UK to shame. I walk down a main Rd from home and it's a continuous flow of take away rubbish for the whole stretch. It's cleared by volunteers. But 36 hrs later, it's back to square one.
I'd never heard of Eggslut until we saw one in Singapore while on a cruise in March. My juvenile sense of humour meant that I had to take a photo of the sign to show people that syych a place existed. A helicopter trip is definitely worth doing. We did one in 2023 in Antigua which flew us over the volcano on Monserrat. We didn't land as most of the island is an exclusion zone and the remaining people there have to be prepared for evacuation at very short notice should there be another eruption.
Going to Vegas next year so LOVING this vlog series... Love you calling out $30 for essentially an egg mccuffin that's £3 odd in the UK. Try the miracle mile shops next to planet Hollywood, MEGA CHEAP eats, earl of sandwich etc. Thumbs up on this vid!
Me and my mates ended up leaving the main Las Vegas strip and found what it's really like to live in Las Vegas loads of poverty, people work and get paid laughable wages whilst the casinos rake it in. Was interesting talking to them.
We are coming over to Vegas on 28th August and have been to Eggslut, whilst staying at the Cosmo. This trip, we are trying various cheaper eateries, recommended by reputable vloggers: AYCE Buffet at the Palms, Ellis Island, Fat Choy, Ocean One, Battistas (great menus and free red and white wine) Herbs & Rye, Peppermill happy hour, Stage Door $1 Buds & $2 hot dogs. Vegas can be done, more economically, if you avoid the strip rip off joints. Enjoy Lee 👍😎🇺🇸
Try the lobster buffet at palms, pre book as the que is always huge, we stayed at Palms place this May in an airbnb, was fantastic and booked again for next June, no resort fee either 😎
Tipping - We usually leave 18 or 20% on the pre tax amount for sit down meals. 25% is a bit toppy. But just a $ or 2 for counter service in the tip jar should suffice. Enjoying your videos
Behind the flamingo....stagedoor $1 bud $2 hotdogs. Ellis island breakfast. Downtown on a Wednesday siegels 50% discount if you're over 50. Most places do happy hour 3-6. 👍
I've been to the west coast several times including Vegas and breakfast is always something I've struggled to enjoy. The best was a buffet breakfast in a hotel in Palm springs which I could anglicise myself.
16 hours to edit the last video! Oh my word! But Lee, I watched it all at normal speed, and I loved every second. You spoil me. Hope you did book the helicopter etc. I'd love to see that!
Stayed at the Cosmo few yers ago and great to see the place again. You should try some of the not so secret bars and restaurants. Secret Pizza, Ghost Donkey, Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, Beauty & Essex to name a few. The helicopter tours are a must, decent flight time and pricey but not comparable to cheaper Florida flights. Safe travels 👌
Enjoyed that Lee thank you, not a cheap breakfast at just over 23 quid, 4 of us went to Vegas in 1992, we were on a three week west coast tour, had great food and soooo cheap in Ceasars Palace the word was then that the food is cheap as they want you at the tables and slots.
Hi Lee, it's great that you're doing a series from Vegas...I've been twelve times, and I would have liked to have been able to pass on a few pointers to the McMaster to try and save you some time on your trip...my Top Tip is this...I know you'v already prepaid at NYNY, but it would be well worth you booking a night at nearby Mandalay Bay. They usually have 1 night a week which is much cheaper than the other nights, and it's like stepping up to a different level, on quality for views, features and experiences. I've done this on my last 3 visits. Have a great trip, you seemed to have sussed out quickly what's going on around the NYNY area.
a tip is a gratuite NOT an expected add on to the bill.. thats one of the reasons i wont visit the states ..besides i do tip the waiter/waitress from my own free will when i eat out but to be expected to add on a 25% tip on top of the eateries bill is outrageous
We loved Vegas was there 6 times over 10 years the resort tax of 400 dollars was basically the last resort breakfast in the luxor was are favourite great blog lee
If you're heading downtown, then try Le Thai down on Fremont street, you'll get much more for your money. Vegas costs have exploded over the last few years, and not helped by the weak £, which doubles the pain.
EGGSLUT where do they find these names from ? it is almost as bad as Slug & Lettuce ! One thing i like about the USA is that you always find some real characters to talk to and they inform you of the best places to eat and visit. Hope you enjoy your helicopter ride.
Hi Lee great video as usual 😉thought I would mention that your new camera is definitely better . You have the black and white striped T shirt on today and there is no sign of the blurry picture because of the T shirt 😉. 🏴🏴
I noticed last year in the States that food was outrageously expensive, never mind the tip. Even fast food is dear, easy to spend $20-25 per head in a Mc/KFC,BK type of restaurant. I did have a shake from Shake Shack in Denver airport, I went for the Bourbon laced one, if I recall it cost in the region of 20 bucks!!! It was bloody good though!!
25% service charge I work in catering in the UK and don't get a Penny I would work a lot harder if I got 25% but it would put me off going to America on holiday.
Haha enjoyed this one! Do more of the uncut raw stuff but I know It's not for everyone but it is for me. Plus saves you the headache of editing music. FYI channel called Harald Baldr got his video demonetised on his cockerel video. His cockerel in his video though was black and he referred to it as, well you can guess lol
You HAVE to go to Ocean One Bar & Grille in Miracle mile (opposite the cosmopolitan) the menu has $6 meals that are absolutely fantastic in taste and value , not to mention quality beers at $3 each !! LETS GO !!
Great video glad u liked breakfast but bit pricey but u r in vegas.i hope you take helicopter ride over canyon and try to get in front next to pilot better view, and go to hoover dam and maybe ranch with horses. 😊
There is an underground walkway all the way from the MGM Grand down to The Paris Hotel. Complete with shops and small park. It's bril... Welcome back to the US mate 🇺🇸🍻🇬🇧
We took a punt on one of those helicopter trips; it was epic, going out to a ranch for lunch, etc. It was well worth doing. We paid for the tickets on the strip from a lady just like that. I was convinced the bus would never turn up, but it did.
It's official, I am too tight to go to America 😂 29 dollars for 1 breakfast, no thank you, must be the Yorkshire in me 😂
West Yorkshire here too, I have family in New York state and Florida but the States prices frighten the life out of me.😂😂
A takeaway for breakfast costing $29. Not even a proper restaurant. Soulless.
When I visited in 2017, i stuck to fast food mostly, but the generic ones, mcdonalds, panda express, in n out etc, honestly food was just so expensive. but thats Vegas for you. Don't go to vegas if you cant afford it right
@@pennyhaskins7952 It's like that everywhere you eat out. Looking at my plate I say that cost this much?
$29 is actually alright price for vegas
The more I see and read about the price of stuff in America the more it puts me off EVER returning! Crazy
Why are you dressed as Hamburglar from the Mcdonalds adverts ? 😎
Love your vids Lee so funny ..you have a great sense of humour.
Eggslut is amazing. It’s worth the wait in that long queue as well
350 dollars 💵 for a helicopter ride around the Grand Canyon and the hoover dam! That’s like a bargain especially in this day and age 😂
Wearing a black baseball cap in 40 c isn’t clever either.
I used to live in Las Vegas and eating out at that time was quite reasonable. About the time my wife and I left the expensive food really started to be much more common. Eating out became much more of a special occasion.

Is that a Frenchman in Vegas 😂😂😂
The tipping culture is out of control,
amazing vlog lee
Walked the strip many times, my favourite place ❤ keep ya eye out for Elvis on his mobility scooter 😂 but the best few afternoon hours are watching Big Elvis at Piano bar Harrahs, bloody brilliant 😊
I was there two months ago. It was awesome to stay there. Will stay there again in a heartbeat.
I'm back watching Lee.. I had a year away as social media was taking over my life. Great to see u again pal and positive as usual.
Welcome back ❤️
@@TheMacMaster hope u do the helicopter trip. Looks great value. Next time ur in Manchester I will get u that beer we said a few years ago pal.

As you were heading up those steps in the heat, I saw a place behind you "Fat Tuesdays"😂 another one worth exploring??
Keep the vegas content coming, bringing back some great memories ❤
A tip. To avoid the stairs and escalators. Walk on the other side of the strip as there are none. Took me 3 days to realise that 😂
Great video again McMaster
About 23 notes for a egg nd bacon sarnie with a few hash browns and a cold coffee 😮
Years ago in Vegas; the restaurants would have beautiful full steak dinners for $4.99 -$5.99 or fish dinners 😮
Lee moonlighting as the SeaWorld mime artist in this outfit?
Las Vegas looks amazing! So clean, too. Thanks for showing us, Lee 😁❤
Great video again keep them coming 👍

You forgot the dog shit as well.
Omg can not wait to see you fly over the grand canyon..Wow that will get views... Something a lot of us will never see..Thank you Lee ❤

The tipping culture is appalling in the States, thats the main reason I refuse to go. For a 25% tip, I'd expect a happy ending under the table.

Posh McDonald's tho that I would of ordered 2x😂

No need to tip for counter service in the US. It's usually only table service you're expected to tip
