fireflies

I like fireflies. I like the song Firefly by Skyhill. I even like the tv show Firefly (2002) so this video makes a lot of sense to me.
I took 360 photos of my backyard with an exposure time of about 3/4 of a second. About half of those shots captured fireflies. I then composited those 150ish shots together to make the final image. It took a long time and was a lot of work but it was worth it. they brightened my life if only for a little while

It’s amazing the little things you miss. Fireflies make me very nostalgic, almost homesick. So does the calling of mourning doves.
