I know you'd rather dig a Seated or Bust dime, but every time you dig a small shiny, I'm rooting for a 44 Merc so we can see Chris and Brad in the restroom. 🤣
So I bought a Equinox 600 about two years ago and have swung it all of 3 times. Prior to buying my treasure stick, I had subscribed to your channel and a few others to use as tutorials. In this week's episode of the Hoover Boys I learned that silver and hot garbage smell the same. The three times I went out I did find some hot garbage, so I must be on the right track.
Dammit I’m late, you guys never disappoint, it doesn’t take a Lord Baltimore each week to keep us watching! Your warm and fuzzy demeanor is all we need. Good to see boots is still kicking. We need the 44 guy to show up.
nice! roadbed coppah! I was hunting near a main road, but across the street from an 1840 house. I dug around 30-35 modern coins all in one little patch( i figure it was a car crash roll over and all the coins spilled out) and the very last signal...1854 seated half dime.
I am glad that you finally found a silver it put you in a better mood for sure. I think that finding anything at all besides garbage would be great too. Have a great day and happy digging
I agree 100% with the Muck 😀 I have owned a Minelab Equinox for a year now and have hit a few coins when digging but I will say luckily only on the edges and not on the face. 😬.
Silver in the hole is a rush no matter what it ends up being. Of course when you're hunting a place that old, the thought of 1700 silver has got to be dancing around the brain. Nice saves men!
I love that you're giving Muck a hard time for detecting in your line , Kurt! I remember my dad "popping" right in front of me once at a school yard. He was CLEARLY working my line and out popped a Mercury! We jokingly rib each other nowadays about it, but at the time I was soooo po'ed at him! Probably took me a month to get over it and the thing is I may have never even hit if he hadn't anyway. It was a crappy intro Bounty Hunter and they were always such a wishy washy detector. Nice finds, Boyz!!!
Amazing video as always! I just dug my first barber half dollar last week and I'm pretty excited! Can't wait for your next video. I gotta say I really miss Bobby! I hope he is doing well. Happy hunting!
The tiny brass washers are often for brass rivets. I found a "spill" of unused rivet nails and washers that cracked the code for me. They were used in the field and around the barn for leather repair.
Congrats Kurt on the Barber Dime IHP and Copper. Love the one Button that looks coned shaped. Muck Congrats on the Fancy Buttons IHP Copper and Token. Great Hunt there Take Care
Awesome stuff as always boys!! This is gonna me a little odd.. but yeah.. if you can get those radish (daikon) when they are young harvest cut in 1/4 slices and sautee in butter with a little Old Bay as a side dish with steak.. pork...chicken.. whatever 👌 you will wanna grow them😁
My son found a 1892 Barber dime about 15 years or so ago while digging in our garden. This area was on the edge of a field on our farm where a horse barn was. Not much old coins in this area of NW Ohio that was part of the Great Black Swamp. We have found a few native artifacts, but mostly clay! ground that is!)
@@susanluersman9191 Back in the day we'd take road trips to county fairs I always enjoyed Putnam's. So much a better experience than the city fair here in Lucas county.
You probably already know this but, I think your small copper washers that you asked what they are/were are 1/2 of a rivet. Love your videos and learn something new every time!
Good to see you guys have a better day! I’m always happy to find some old relics as long as I find an old coin or two. Are you going to any events this year?
Those washers are actually the end piece to a rivet it goes on top of the post then the post gets flattened on the other side of the whole in the center
Got some awesome news today... Wifes new detector (Nokta Ultra) is on the way... Arriving friday for a weeknd hunt. She sat down and started watching the channel with and said she wanted a detector... Icing on the cake the Hoover Boys merch is on the way. Happy hunting everyone 🪙
Who's Brad oh its that one guy who rarely gets permission from the other. Need a day with everyone including that smiley guy. At least this week wasn't like last digging aluminum balls
I dug my FIRST silver today in Newfoundland, Canada!! A 1843 seated liberty half dime!!!!!!! STOKED!!!
Awesome! Congrats! Love the half dime. One of my favorites

Get some cold cuts get some cold cuts
For those that don't know the backstory, your wanting to see Chris and Brad in the restroom may raise some eyebrows.

That was part of my intent.

Haha! Correct, you're doing it right. Unfortunately, there's way more trash in the ground than treasure. Never know till you dig it up
That was Definitely alot of Work!!! I think it ended well!!! Thank you Kurt for making my Wednesday's the Absolute Best!!! God Bless Us All!!!!
Silver and a 1600's coin. Strong finish to the day guys. Nice work.
Marks clamshell shaped fancy piece looks like it could be part of a sword/dagger handguard
It certainly does! I knew it looked familiar
Leading off with Mark's clamshell made me choke on my coffee😅😅
100%, I was just scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else caught that!
That was a lot of digging that day! Really miss seeing all of The Hoover Boys together in action!!!
There are only *3 certainties in life; death, taxes, and The Hoover Boys on Wednesday. I hope the latter never changes!
I wonder if the farmer would mind if I'd been there eating his radishes? 'Course it would take a lot of Foo to get one edible. 🤣
Haha!
S the bed! Good choice of statments for some of THOSE hunts.

You looked tired, Kurt. You had a busy day with some moderate treasure found. Thanks for sharing your adventure. 😀
Nice hunt and finds Guys 👊

Awesome hunt. I finally broke my year+ silver drought with a 3 merc hunt and 1 was a 44, wooo!

Muck is becoming the new B-rad marking up all his finds.
I don't know....... Ol' B'Rad managed to break a 'fine' gold piece
into 4 pieces.......... that's pretty hard to beat.
Brad needs to get his butt out here!
Yeah but we get to see the ol muck mark a lot lately.
Wonder if we'll ever get to see Bob or Billy again. Miss those two.
Nice hunt guys thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks Kurt and Mark. Keep digging! We love theses videos.

Geez I almost missed Hoover boy Wednesday!

Another good hunt!
Trending up .
I bought my very first setup, garrett 300 with a pinpointer, lol, found a silver dime in my backyard.
Better than a Snickers dipped in vinegar!! 🎉❤

I was just telling someone this time of the year is tough for finds
When pinpointing with the 900 consider the target right under the minelab logo on your coil.
👍👍
👍🏻
Still looking for a coin! 😮 David
15th like, good morning hoover boys, happy wednesday
I was expecting y'all to clean up on lost easter eggs.
I think the washers are the back of rivets.
I hate them!
hey Kurt haircut and beard trim looks nice...
Do Bobbie and the others even exist at this point? We may need an updated picture of some of them for the posters
They exist. Wish they could play more
When are you putting on the new one? I'm messing, valuable fishing time.
Hey Kurt! How is the Legend treating ya?
It's a great machine. I still like switching it up to keep the batteries fresh in my other units
Hub I wonder if it's just the 900 as I have the 700 and yet to have that issue
Shame that 1889 token was so crunchy. Would’ve been a real nice one in better condition
Absolutely
Thanks for "stalking" all the trash so we can see some history!

Haven't had any issues pinpointing with my 900 so far...
YOU HEAR THAT MARK?!?!?! Operator error
@@thehooverboys its a piece of junk I say
The first mint mark was on the 1908 Indian penny . It was from San Francisco mint . Not 1906.
What are you using on the tip of pinpointer to protect it?
Tip protector

Do you check your clad quarters for W's???
I like watching. I eat my lunch. I like muck and you. Where are the other guys?
Can you take the legend to the Indian head burial ground with the new beast mode update? 😊
Aluminium is the bane of all detectorists until it goes $5.00 a lb then respect.
Kurt! How can I can get in touch with you guys? I’m headed to Maryland for K9 training next week and would love to meet up!
You think I could join you and mark on a hunt or two. I don't get to hunt with anyone so it would be nice. Thanks
❤❤❤❤❤😅
Still waiting To go sometime with you because at this point it's pointless for me to go by myself because you've been too many places
But did you find any un-found Easter candy??
44th like ladies thats me!!!!!!
I saw two coins together, you miss it out. You leave one coin behind. Review of 12:10/22:59
I love how many times we get this same exact comment. What you see as another coin is the coin impression in the dirt. Appreciate the support!
@@thehooverboys yes. I saw as good eyes catch found coins that you not noticed that. 🙂 keep it going find more finds coins and history. Stay safe. 🙂
I have like $15.00 worth of coins, and $8.00 worth of pennies.
hi, maybe 5th lol
used 1.14 update yet its a bata release
What’s wrong with digging a wheatie
Nothing. Just hoping for older at a place from the 1750's
You need Brad
EVERYONE SHOULD BE USING THE LEGEND.... just saying
First
Man, I was first last week and had appointments all day. Congrats see you next week
Bar none the equinox series are terrible at pinpointing.
“NOTHING” ??? … as silly of a statement as your habitual fake filler laugh.
Enjoyed!
