Read the book, folks, even if you don’t like the show. Blake Crouch is an excellent author and the novel is terrifying stuff.
The ending dilemma could have been fixed by having the wife and son go into the cube multiple times.

Dark Matter isn't a substance known to man. It's purely hypothetical, and we know literally nothing about it.

Dark Matter is a sci-fi tv series few years back, it was made by the same people who made Stargate.
So sad the 3rd season ended on a major cliffhanger and no 4th season jet had been made and apple(or who ever the actual namers were) due to also naming a tv series that the original will never have a continuation it seems.
yes, it's unfortunate the the tv series has the same name with the one from a few years ago, but are very different....

A schrodinger box?
Isn't that just a mundane box containing a quantium trigger (i.e., a device capable of measuring an effect governed by quantium probability, like a guiger counter measuring nuclear decay) and a vial of poisen primed to be destroyed the moment that the quantium trigger is activated?
It's hardly a super advanced peace of technology capable of anything more than breaking a simple glass vial.
If it was possible to commute to another world by mearly breaking glass vials, I don't know why anyone would insist on the pretence of having a box or a quantium trigger. 🤔
I'd much appreciate it if you reviewed the movie Ejecta! I think it is an excellent sci-fi movie but yet I have never seen a review on it as if I'm the only person who knows about this movie!!

fun fact: the point of the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment was not to explain superposition but rather to explain how our understanding of how physics works and how quantum mechanics work are totally at odds.

Wait, they stole a plot idea that I have shared with an AI two years ago. It also included a lecture on Schroedinger's cat and the lacturer should ask a question "but what if the observer is inside, not outside?". At work he performs such experiment with black cube isolated from environment and when he walks away, he finds out that his access card does not work on turnstile at the building's entrance, and the security man opens it manually. On the street he finds out that his mobile phone does not work, and it later turns out that he is swapped with his likeness in parallel universe, where they call a smartphone "calculator", internet "telegraph" and when he asks for a telephone, people think that he asks for outdated stationary phone.
Do we need to open the box to hear the clicking of the Geiger counter? Not that smart are ya.

Cant say how happy I am to have missed it. As much as I'm always interested in watching Jen Connelly, she sure has a habit of picking some real stinkers for work.
The Rocketeer is considered one of the greatest films ever if not the greatest film made about personal jet packs. She is one of stars of that film. It is also evidence that she may be a vampire or demonic creature since she looks younger and with a firmer body shape than a film made 30+ years ago.

The Schrodinger's cat experiment is a joke, the point is that it's ridiculous, a cat cannot be both alive and dead, thus the current theory of Quantum mechanics is broken. It's a paradox that we have yet to solve, and evidence AGAINST quantum mechanics, not an actual reality...
