Asphalt driveways are very common here in the Pacific NW, and i just did mine after 20+ years, same routine, pressure wash, clean / prep. This product is amazing, it looks so good when finished and is rugged and very high quality. Thanks for the vid! (btw mine took 7 - 5 gal! Yikes haha!)
Great video as always. It shows that you are a great person to have complete the job even after the death of your neighboor. I liked your first one also and even made me do mine instead to pay "Omer" (the old funny guy with his vintage white econoline) Was pretty easy with a squeegee and also I used a wide paint brush on a pole to do the perimeter to save my back. I looked at Omer doing it years ago and he was using a squeegee and a old rectangle broom so I did similar with the paint brush on a pole. I started very early because once the sun hit, the sealer start to dry too quickly. I mist the driveway before to apply the last part of the driveway when the sun rised.

If you’ve ever seen a rough looking asphalt driveway with cracks and weeds coming through that’s exactly why you sealcoat a driveway. Provides protection and adds longevity. Thanks for watching and asking Brian.

I feel you on the bad air in Seattle. I had to put off any work on my kitchen reno because my chest hurt for three days. Would this stuff help keep the moss off a bumpy-asphalt patio?
Yep and I even called the company to check. As long as it’s not standing water and the driveway is just yet then your free to apply. Just make sure it’s dry before it rains :)
Why? The companies in our area are very competitive and prices are very good with a typical two car wide driveway costing about $70 to seal. Includes sealing cracks, grass trimming, blowing, sealing and barriers. They do my drive in about 30 minutes! Money well spent!

Do you really think a person who spent days completely transforming my neighbors driveway for FREE is taking the easy way out because they are selling the house? I specifically note in the video that I didn't apply a second coat at this time due to rain in the forecast but a second coat can be applied at a later date. I don't expect you to know this but it took months to be able to get a hold of the right family members and real-estate agent to just allow me to do this for her since it is an odd request. I also could have just told my audience that I applied two coats in the video and called it good, but its very important to me that I'm truthful and honest with my audience at all times since I value you taking the time to watch the videos I produce. I apologies for the tangent but needed to make sure this was clearly stated. Thanks for watching.
