one of the reasons I chose the Veloster N over the Type R, Honda wanted $10k more over MSRP plus a 6month wait. so I pulled the trigger on Hyundai. I've seen sum real good exhaust mods on Type R's tho that give it a nice tone!

Beautiful and aggressive exterior, Good sounding exhaust from the factory, nice amount of HP, great modern looking interior, manual transmission still Alive. The Pilot Sport 4 S's are so much better!!
Personally with regard to the N custom mode, I have mine with everything turned up to the max, with the exception of the suspension, I keep in in normal or standard mode, it just makes the ride that bit smoother but still firm enough to enjoy the pops and bangs etc..

After my wife totaled the 2016 Escape that we bought new (suicidal moose), we needed a vehicle fast (medical reasons), and there were not a lot of options in our area. We bought a 2006 Kia Sedona that is loaded and it has been wonderful. Used to make fun of Kia/Hyundai but would have no issues buying a new one. With that, the van needed new brakes, tuneup, battery, starter, alternator since purchasing it. It now has about 140k miles and needs new struts/shocks. I consider those the basics for a car with that mileage.
We like the van so much that we decided to keep it and not have a payment. Though, we're thinking about a new(er) one in the coming years.
