While I don't know how accurate the English subtitles are to the Japanese lyrics, something that I think's really amazing is that they both synch up practically syllable-for-syllable; you can use those subtitles to sing the song in English at the same pace it's sung in Japanese. That's such a cool little detail that you don't usually see; normally people seem to do a straightforward translation for the subtitles regardless of whether or not they line up with the rhythm of the song and just leave it at that
When I first saw this opening with my brother, fun fact here: a Jojo animator helped make the openings. My brother us a huge Jojo fan he cab tell the art style. And I get my game today!! Happy late birthday to me!!
So I booted up my Rune Factory 5 today, I saw this and thought to myself; "Someone have watched too much Jojo in between RF4 and RF5" Though I don't complain but its quite the shift in tone compared to RF4. This really caught me off guard. Happy Farming everyone! (^-^)
This was weird mostly cause I didn't expect it. Also I got my game yesterday don't know why since it was released today😅. Oh and Me and Fuuka already have 2 hearts😁.
Would've been great if both of them appeared in the game, like in ToD, where either the male or female protagonist could turn into a Bachelor or Bachelorette.
lets be real the RF series needs an anime all of their intros are Anime style and when you meet the characters they too have a Anime format so IT IS there
@@denxrstudio Harvest Moon isn’t HM anymore in West.. it’s called Story of Seasons and Rune Factory is related to SoS not the evil fake Natsume HM series that stole the name pretty much. Also some of the games were on Playstation consoles before in the past. They were not exclusive to Nintendo.
@Dumuzi the Yazata 1) I forgot the new name which is SOS. But still, it is still HM which the name change. Rune Factory is HarvestMoon but with adventure as its concept, while HM/SOS focus on farming including technical. That is why when the first few Rune Factory title mentioned 'a fantasy of harvestmoon' on their name title name. Also, idk why you saying Natsume was a fake, because on HM popular era (before they changed title into SOS) Maverlouse just like to stick with Natsume pretty much. As for HM, it was evolved from River King game. 2) Marvelous might have releasing HM in previous console, but the title are mostlikely exclusive to Nintendo, you may refer the title history of release. The only I saw they release to PS is Remake of HM Friend Of Mineral Town (PS1), HM Hero of Leaf Valley (PSP exclusive) & some weird HM that like robot or something (my friend play it but Im not, PSP or PS1). SOS also seems lot of release to Switch, as for PS only SOS Mineral Town (obviously remake from HM Mineral Town) and SOS Doraemon. 3)As for Rune Factory, it is always Nintendo Exclusive. From NDS, Wii, 3DS, and now Switch. The only reason why they port out (with some tweak & added feature) of Rune Factory 4 Special to Steam & PS4 is because 3DS is no longer available. Some goes to Atlus/Sega for porting Persona 4 Golden (PS Vita exclusive) and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS 3 exclusive) to other platform is due PSV & PS 3 is no longer available.

Is it just me or does the opening feel like it was done by a different person after the 1 minute mark. The style of the animation is completely different. The first minute of this opening had a really cool upbeat, high concept style while the after the 1 minute mark it was kind of just generic.
The cinematography of the composition is "The more things change, the more they stay the same". Change is scary ONLY until you establish yourself, so don't fear it! See your plan THROUGH in it!...

It's because those subs are in the same intro of the game, so they are as accurate as possible, too.
I love that this feels like a season 1 opening to an anime and the second feels like the more intense season 2

the opening was such a bop, i love listening to all of the openings, tho rf2 has to have my favorite music in the entire series
The first generation opening for RF2 is probably my favorite of the lot. Too bad I can't seem to find any high quality uploads of it anywhere.
RF3 has my heart since the first time I played it, tho.
Great one, english subtitles

this is some 90s era shit right here. that's a good thing.
My Earthmate Edition is out for delivery!
The first half of the song gave me serious Lupin III vibes. 😅
I got my copy. Woot
congrats, happy playing it
@@HarvestMoonAllSeries I sure am.

Dang, they gave us english subtitles?!
yep
Oh yes they did!
I feel like the last time they did anything similar to this was in Rune Factory 3. That was when they had English versions of the song.
Dude, the original RF4 manual had the lyrics of the intro in japanese and english, if I remember correctly.
7 hours and 14 minutes till i can get my copy!!!
