Wildlife in Watercolour yes, and I also think that like with most portraits, the eyes are one of the most important things - if you i can’t get the eyes right, then I’ll never be happy with the rest of the work.
Hi Nirja, sadly I haven't written any books other than art magazine step-by-step- tutorials. Thank you for asking though. If you are interested in looking at the other videos I have here for painting fur, here is the list for you, I hope it helps, Paul 🎨 bit.ly/3mGifZK
Hi, I can't tel lyou the specific colours due to this being a paid for video tutorial, but if it helps, I can direct you to the materials I used for this though. devonartist.co.uk/materials-i-use-or-recommend-for-realistic-watercolour/
Love your work and thanks so much for the video of this leopard and how you painted it. My hearing is rubbish anymore and wonder if in future videos you could turn the music down a tad bit so I can hear you better? I want sign up for your patreon soon.
Hi Crystalheart9, yes I can turn it down a little more. I am starting to film more non background vice over videos as well, so it should get better for you. Don't forget with this video I do have subtitles as well, found to the bottom right hand side of the video, left-hand side of the cog.Thank you for your support here and especially if you come along to my Patreon channel www.patreon.com/TheDevonArtist. Paul :-)
@@TheDevonArtist Thanks so much. I do use the close caption a lot but sometimes when there is interference with the voice of the person speaking the cc doesn't do a great job with picking up the words. But anyway, I look forward to more videos of your amazing work. I want to join your patreon soon and get even more great tutorials.
Thank you for asking. I have all the colours within the Watercolour PDF lesson on how to paint this. www.etsy.com/uk/listing/828466431/realistic-watercolor-painting-lesson-how
Went to website and noticed that the tiger DVD is in PAL format so that let's USA out we do not use that format.nyou should consider making your DVD download able would be a cost save to you and you would sell more.
Hi, yes it is in PAL format but should work in a laptop or home computer, from what I've been told by my other customers across the water. However, all of these can be watched online for less money via my Patreon website, plus you have over 100 videos lessons there rather than the one Tiger video on a DVD. I'll pop the link below for you if it helps, Paul 🎨 www.patreon.com/TheDevonArtist

Thank you very much Shafik.
I always paint the eyes, main features first too. It gives my subject life - and that life is what keeps me motivated thru the rest of the painting.
As you know Geslina, I do the same thing. I just love to look at the eyes whilst working on all that lovely detail. Paul :-)

Thank you Moo :-)
Continue to practice and use a piece of scrap watercolor paper to test my colors.
That's precisely what I do as well, testing first can help you avoid some of the mistakes that could happen within the painting. 😀
