Thanks a lot, I'm sketching two figures on a 36 x 48-inch canvas. The next painting will be at least two people for now. I'll upload in stages, so I don't bore you all. Take care!
@@howtopaintlionstigersandpe8570 its not boring in any way, Iam trying to get realism and am doing a lion at moment this has helped me so much, look forward to your next video. 😊😊🙏🙏
Hey Chris, thanks. 1.FOUNDATION Color: Yellow Ochre, little cerulean blue to cool down. 2.PUPIL: burnt umber, alizarin crimson & ultramarine blue for darkest area. 3.OUTER EDGE of IRIS: burnt sienna, little alizarin crimson & burnt umber. 4.IRIS Shadows around Pupil: burnt sienna, cerulean blue, burnt umber. 5.Hi-lite around Pupil: yellow ochre, titanium white, cerulean blue. Hi-Lites: yellow cadmium, white & burnt sienna (little) I hope this help, use your judgment on amount of each color in the Mix!
Hey, I use #6 and #7 sable brush, on the number 7 brush, I will trim some hairs from the outer circle to make it more pointed and hold more paint because of its length. I cover the canvas with large Bristle brushes and detail with watercolor Sable brushes. All of my painting are Oils, because it doesn't dry quickly and allow the color to blend easier and not too sharp to avoid a cut-out look, even in the single hairs. Take Care. Johnny
@@howtopaintlionstigersandpe8570 Well done!!!!! What about the dog, my dog used to like wearing the paint. She seemed to be especially fond of cerelion blue! This went well with her black fur. 😊
Hello, just notice your question. My colors are burnt umber, yellow ocher, yellow (very little), burnt sienna (very little), titanium white, alizarin crimson & ultramarine blue for darkest detail, a touch of cobalt blue (to cool off burnt umber), a touch of cerulean blue (in light tan fur). Only 9 colors. The 10th color: little Black with the Alizarin Crimson & Ultramarine Blue will work for some darker areas. Hopefully this is helpful! Happy New Year & Take care!

Stunning 👌😍 which no paint brush do you use for giving the fur effects?ls it Acrylic colours or oil paints?

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
What is that sweet dog telling you? He wants to paint?? Oh my! Enjoyed your art too. Do you glaze your painted fur?
Hey, I glaze on some larger wildlife pieces. This eye was only 8 inches by 8 inches, it only took just under 4 hours.
