A conversation between hunter and Blizzard. Hunter: So, I feel like I've lost my interesting mid-range decks, what do you suggest Blizzard? Blizzard: Just go face. Hunter: But it's hard to go face consistently, the only 1 mana 1/3 in standard right now is crystalizer, which isn't even a beast and the other 1 mana options are difficult to stick to the board. Blizzard: 2:30 here, have this 1 mana 1/3 which allows your hero power to target minions, making your opponent terrified to play early minions therefore: allowing you to go face. Hunter: okay, so what do you recommend I play on turn 2? I've not seen any new secrets yet... Blizzard: 3:09 play this river crockolisk and use your hero power to keep your opponents board cleared and pull and play every single secret from your deck. This amount of extra control will allow you to go face. Hunter: okay, okay, I get it. What about if my opponent plays a bigger threat to get around my dwarven sharpshooter? Blizzard: 3:57 play this legendary mech, everytime you use your hero power it deals 5 damage to a random enemy. Doing this on an empty board will deal 7 damage to face. Such terror must be removed or you will go face a lot. Hunter: So, this is great and all, but what if I run out of fuel? I don't seem to have catch up mechanisms? Blizzard: 4:37 Here, have an emperor cobra with a dragon tag that discovers a dragon for you. This'll both refuel you and trade well. Generally having a poisonous minion on board makes the opponent afraid to play minions, allowing you to just go face. Hunter: Okay okay. I get it. You really want me to go face. Do I have some sort of spot removal to help with board control? Blizzard: 5:26 Fine, have it your way. Take this 2 mana deal 3 damage to a minion... still got that dragon in your hand from last turn? Hunter: Yeah, why? Blizzard: SURPRISE HOLDING A DRAGON ALSO MAKES THIS SPELL GO FACE! Hunter: ... Blizzard: Okay, sorry sorry. I just really want you to go face... Tell you what, would you like a 1 mana 3/3? Hunter: ... Go on? Blizzard: 5:57 Here, have a side quest. Hunter: Side quest? Blizzard: Well, not exactly *A* 3/3... Hunter: Whaddya mean? Blizzard: it summons 3 1/1s... Hunter: Oh, cool. Are the tabby cats coming back to standard? Blizzard: Uh, no... "we don't like limiting design space" is just a fancier way to say "we don't want classic cards to be able to compete with our new expansions" really. Blizzard shows their hypocrisy again by making Breath of Dreams. This is worse than that time they said Shaman's weakness is card generation before making card gen shaman the most powerful deck
The card in question is grossly OP, no doubt. But to be fair Wild Growth not being strong enough to be in every druid deck is good. It means that when they want ramp druid to exist / be good, they can make a card for it, and then when it's done they can do something new. And tbf, that shaman statement was made well after they made the shaman generation cards (though it is still a good point that the weaknesses / strengths were poorly laid out and timed by Blizzard anyway)
@@Pikaton659 Mind blast is cheap face damage in a permanent Basic card, and sorta pushes for aggro priest, which isn't supposed to exist. Alex Stewart I don’t see how any of what you said detracts from my point. Mind Blast has always been an example of what a Shadow Priest would look like in terms of Hearthstone. Hey, can you tell me where you saw that we were going to get a class legendary. I've heard a few people say that already, but I just wanted to see it for myself.
Mana efficiency almost doesn’t matter in the late game, and that’s not extreme enough A 2 mana 3/3 is stronger than a 2 mana 6/6 that you can only play after turn 10
I'm not 100% sure that nozdormu sets you to empty mana crystals. because it says set each player to 10 mana crystals and hearthstone in the past has said "empty mana crystals" so wording really matters here
I think Dragon [Insert Class] will be a thing for all classes. There are quite a few good neutral dragons (Crowd Roaster gonna see a lot of play). Not to mention the Ever Green dragons too.
Waxadred + Shadow of Death. When you get to Fatigue, you have a permanent 4 7/5 dragons on the board. If you cast 2 Shadows of Death, you basically always have a full board of 7/5 dragons.
Twin Tyrant might find a home in OTK Priest, as a tool to help stabilize OTK Priest is already possible, as mentioned by Trump in the previous video (he forgot to mention Holy Ripple, which does 8 damage a piece, in case 16 damage Holy Smite x2 isn't enough) - it's just a matter of whether Priest will have enough tools to survive and draw through the deck quick enough or not to be viable
I've already been playing midrange value rogue in wild (Reno quest Nzoth Tess) and I would love to play it in standard as it's my favourite archetype. I am also very excited to play big paladin
I think the power level is the curse of set 3. Since this set will have the shortest amount of time in standard it kind of makes sense for the cards to be above the power curve so that they actually get a chance to have an impact on the meta. Sure the meta is usually figured out within the first few weeks of an expansion and this set will still be around for a whole year, but the first 2 sets in this block will have still been around for longer.
Note to point out that will make dreadwing super strong, commanders shout. Protects your minions draws a card and lets you kill every enemy minion. Just means you set all your minions to 1 health. 10 mana combo is super neat.
Breath of Dreams does seem really powerful indeed. Question: if you’re already at 10 mana when you get the extra mana crystal from holding a dragon, does it give you _another_ draw (from Excess Mana)? If so, a two mana draw two cards is _preeeetty_ good.
"Wow will you look at that, look at all these new cards that have descended" I have no idea why, but that performance, that execution had me in stitches, I was so thrown off by that
9:42 - I predict Evasive Drakonid is going to be played quite a lot and it's going to be so annoying to deal with, that people run BGH again. But assuming there will be quite a number of other giant dragons being played, BGH might be a good pick anyways.
Nozdormu op op! A huge enticer for the opponent to over commit into a equality consecrate, or under commit into your next big minion. The "downside" is dependent on your opponent not playing his "perfect" round 5 in contrast to your hand
Azure explorer has another plus over cosmic anomaly because you don't play anomaly for its atk. It's really only played for its spell damage. Therefore, the floating effect makes it much more competitive much like how thalnos was played over comparable spell damage minions without the draw.
When i play, i'm gonna do the infinite waxadread deck. Use the one spell that puts 3 shadows in the deck, and togwaggle scheme, necrium potion and blade, then finally sathrovar. So many infinite dragons. Only counter would be priest with plague of death.
Is it time for crowd roaster and dragonmaw scorcher to finally return? It looks like you can have a pretty solid curve of continual removal with a potential roaster on 7 into twin tyrant on 8, especially in control warrior if you're aiming to boom on 9 or have Voone to copy them. Plus, with all these new dragons, getting 2 in hand for 2 mana is pretty solid too.
Why did they implement the rotation system and not made it so you could play against decks of other expansions but ONLY IF you stick to the cards of the respected expansion?
Turns out Sathrovarr is insane in Holy Wrath Paladin. Its the one card that can get you out of bad situations and also its an alternate win condition if you have to use one of your Baleful Bankers to save the game. Also also you might not even need the second Baleful Banker since three 7/5 divine shield/rush/lifesteal minions are fairly hard to remove plus its 26 damage for 9 mana on the board. Pretty damn broken if you ask me.
Waxadred specifies resummon waxadred. Does that mean it goes dormant and comes back on the candle or does it summon another waxadred? Keyword resummon dont think ive seen before
What makes Breath of Dreams even more insane is when you draw it late, as in your already ramped to 10 mana, you can basically cast it as a 2 mana draw 2 cards by abusing the excess mana mechanic in Druid, a one mana cheaper Arcane Intellect.
Does not the text of nozdurmu says that you get 10 full mana crystals? Because if apparently if they're empty, then it should be 10 empty mana crystals.
If you play nozdormu at 10 mana crystals already, it is a 4 mana 8/8 basically for no drawback. Is a big ol pile of stats good enough to be a legendary?
For nozdormu the timeless, wouldn't it specifically say that they were empty mana crystals if it were? I think it's going to work like a paladin's version of Kun Edit: thank you bboy bobcat for informing me that Blizzard confirmed on Twitter that they are empty mana crystals
Sathrovarr plus shudderwock. Lots of new battle cries including all the invoking cards. Battle cry shaman seems insane with only one class specific card for shaman out so far.

3º: The new outro made me laugh a lot, you are godly Jens (though please use from time to time the one with the lil' Trumps dancing, i think it's the best one)
i wanna do nozdormu the timeless with that other card(i forgkt the name) that brings ur mana crystals down to 5 and just say sike! were back at 5 mana
Use it as a counter-play. They play new Noz and happy with 10. You play Zihi, we back at 5, their plan is ruined.
Actually you ruin your chance, cause you waste ne mana to lock yourself on 5 mana again
@@admiraltonydawning3847 and now they have an 8/8 and go to 6mana at the start of their turn; so still 1 ahead of where they would've been (assuming on curve). Zihi isn't really good into Noz.
Malygos could go on a highlander deck as well since there are at least 2 other dragons I could think of that you would run: Alexstrasza and Kalecgos.
WAIT.
we're getting 5 galakronds, 1 class legendary dragon AND sathrovarr?
Pic source ward
it's yupiel from the hentai doujin "Lady Yupiel's servant".
Hey, can you tell me where you saw that we were going to get a class legendary. I've heard a few people say that already, but I just wanted to see it for myself.
@@SkyllerSY thx i thought she had free legendaries, of course I wanted free legendaries, is "hentai" a synonym for legendary?
@@TorneraFoda Kind of, considering N'Zoth.
Nozdormu is insane in the late game when your opponent is already 9 or 10 mana. It’s a 4 mana 8/8 dragon with absolutely no punish at that point 👀
Mana efficiency almost doesn’t matter in the late game, and that’s not extreme enough
A 2 mana 3/3 is stronger than a 2 mana 6/6 that you can only play after turn 10
Twin Tyrant might find a home in OTK Priest, as a tool to help stabilize
OTK Priest is already possible, as mentioned by Trump in the previous video (he forgot to mention Holy Ripple, which does 8 damage a piece, in case 16 damage Holy Smite x2 isn't enough) - it's just a matter of whether Priest will have enough tools to survive and draw through the deck quick enough or not to be viable
my name is Rappin Sathrovarr and I'm here to say
I'm about to shake up the meta in major way
HAHA nice lines Sath dog
guarantee that Voone will be one of the most played cards when the new expansion releases, despite getting no play right now
for some reason, I'm picturing the dragon deck being the new mech deck
I've already been playing midrange value rogue in wild (Reno quest Nzoth Tess) and I would love to play it in standard as it's my favourite archetype. I am also very excited to play big paladin
I love how he's excited about rogue cards.
I don’t think shuffling extra candles with Waxadread would give you extra Waxadreads since it says “resummon” rather than just “summon”
The new “ending” is... wow! :D
what music is it?
Its time to be the 'Mother of Dragons' !!
FreeYourMind Now The father of dragons Galakrond needs a sex change

Note to point out that will make dreadwing super strong, commanders shout. Protects your minions draws a card and lets you kill every enemy minion. Just means you set all your minions to 1 health. 10 mana combo is super neat.
Breath of Dreams does seem really powerful indeed. Question: if you’re already at 10 mana when you get the extra mana crystal from holding a dragon, does it give you _another_ draw (from Excess Mana)?
If so, a two mana draw two cards is _preeeetty_ good.
"Wow will you look at that, look at all these new cards that have descended"
I have no idea why, but that performance, that execution had me in stitches, I was so thrown off by that
9:42 - I predict Evasive Drakonid is going to be played quite a lot and it's going to be so annoying to deal with, that people run BGH again.
I'ma do my best Trump impression, "Malygos, Aspect of Magic. 1 star design. It doesn't have 9 or 12 health"
Usually I’m mad when Trump changes his ending clip. But this time I’m thrilled.
That outro is the most powerful thing in this expansion, it sure hit me hard.
Sathrovar into waxdred seems like a tricky but potentially hilarious combo
Im gonna miss the uldum outro.. it was the best hs song ever made so far.
New Deathwing + commanding Shout is just a 10 mana brawl that you always win with a 12/1 minion (unless there's a poison minion on the board)
Why did they implement the rotation system and not made it so you could play against decks of other expansions but ONLY IF you stick to the cards of the respected expansion?
So what dragons do we expect the other classes to get? Will Alexstrasza and Sindragosa be present?
Man I hope Alexstrasza is in this expansion. Such a classic and iconic card, I really wanna see a new version of her.
Yes alex is indeed on the set for hunter i assume, and she will be revealed in 29 Nov. Just wait!
Sindragosa is in the trailer for the expansion
@@jakbar_vano7139 where did you got that knoledge? I want to see
@@OlivierSalad check on the official hearthstone website, mate.
Finally crafting two crowd roasters back in Rastakhan's rumble will pay off
Turns out Sathrovarr is insane in Holy Wrath Paladin.
Keyword resummon dont think ive seen before
I feel like discover should still have a bonus...not like it was but maybe 25% or so.
19:30 BAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it! GREAT OUTRO!
Dragonbane should have a lil ”Cant Attack” tag to it to balance it a bit with those stats and insane ”inspire” effect!
The candle that Waxadred shuffles into the deck is the same candle that The Darkness shuffles into the deck?
Dat Outro though! Thanks for the nightmares! D: Gut gemacht Jens, !
Nozdormu the Timeless is probably pretty good against ramping druid. Prevents them from getting to the high mana substantially earlier than you.
We already had the hunter "hero power can target minions" back in Goblins vs. Gnomes with Steamwheedle Sniper and he was 2/3 for 2.
And epic
Emerald explorer is great, great common card, better than half the rares in this game.five star card.
My biggest take from this video is the ending.
Stellar job once again Jens. You magical fairy you.
8:33 it now gives 3 instead of 1 not a 3 mana discount and it isnt Cabalist's Tome or was it just a example?
What does nozdormu/time/mana ramp have to do with paladins? I thought mana ramp was supposed to be somewhat exclusive to Druid?
What makes Breath of Dreams even more insane is when you draw it late, as in your already ramped to 10 mana, you can basically cast it as a 2 mana draw 2 cards by abusing the excess mana mechanic in Druid, a one mana cheaper Arcane Intellect.
The jade ramp card didn't give that draw.
Maybe it's the same with this one
Do the candles from Waxadred activate The Darkness? If so, im going to try to build a deck around it just for fun;)!
Phase Stalker is a beast, which means it works with Master's Call. Big benefit over Masked Contender
Hearthstone players in the year of the dragons: *WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?!* (Daenerys intensifies)
Blizzard: Hey they are, and they are OP.
when you ddin't play hearthstone for 2 years and you notice the power creep
imagine when the day comes where you can have a whole deck of just deathwing cards xD
well we need little deathwing to survive the early game lol
if I have a buffed prelate do the hand and deck copies from sathrovarr come with the buffs ?
Does not the text of nozdurmu says that you get 10 full mana crystals? Because if apparently if they're empty, then it should be 10 empty mana crystals.
Tome normally costs 1, but it give you 1 spell, upgraded give you 3 spells
He was talking about Cabalist´s Tome , not Tome of Intellect
Waxadred's text says Resummons it, so would that mean multiple candles don't work the way Trump says they do?
If you play nozdormu at 10 mana crystals already, it is a 4 mana 8/8 basically for no drawback. Is a big ol pile of stats good enough to be a legendary?
So how about a hadronox dragon druid deck?? It sounds pretty strong. Probably could fit the quest in yoo
New Outroman! 19:20
For nozdormu the timeless, wouldn't it specifically say that they were empty mana crystals if it were? I think it's going to work like a paladin's version of Kun
Edit: thank you bboy bobcat for informing me that Blizzard confirmed on Twitter that they are empty mana crystals
are you crazy?
if they were full crystals it would be way too OP
Connor Craft they are empty mana crystals. Blizzard said so specifically. otherwise it would be way to overpowered.
Connor Craft It doesn’t say that you gain mana crystals. If it functioned like Kun it would be insanely OP considering it’s stats and mana cost.
it was confirmed on twitter by one of the designers on twitter that it gives you empty mana crystals.
@@TheBboySpooky okay, thank you, the wording seemed really weird
We are getting some really good cards already. Interesting to see how much better the rest of the cards get.
Why doesn't Phase Stalker read "Inspire: Cast a secret from your deck." Are they giving Inspire the Enrage treatment?
Commanding Shout + Deathwing combo poggers
Sathrovarr plus shudderwock.
Lots of new battle cries including all the invoking cards. Battle cry shaman seems insane with only one class specific card for shaman out so far.
Why isn't keyword "inspire" used in the Hunter legendary?
