I bought into the blue Bosch 12v system because I had a Dremel and thought the battery would fit but the Dremel was just compatible with the green DIY batteries. Oh well, now I have both 😅. It's kind of silly because they're obviously the same battery, just with some housing changes to artificially limit compatability...
There were a few things I preferred about the Dremel over the Bosch. In the end though we have Bosch battery’s laying around everywhere so it was a given.
Hi to both of you, nice review , love from India , I own a corded DREMEL 4000 & have got the BOSCH GRO 12V 35 cordless recently , it was sinister for BOSCH not to equip the GRO 12V 35V with a clip for hanging while using a DREMEL flex shaft attachment ,also not making it brushless !
We dropped it directly on the end of the shaft and bent it. Locked it up completely. Even if we had tried to straighten the shaft anything but perfectly straight would have caused vibration.
try 6.0ah battery for Bosch. it will be much more powerful. basically Bosch and dremel share the same type of battery same accessories, but Dremel doesn't fit large 12v battery. it's incomparable Bosch easy wins. Dremel or any other brands are no match for Bosch with 6.0ah. it's only comparable with Milwaukee with 6.0ah.

I got the brushless 8250 Dremel a few months back. It has a 3ah battery and is superb. Amazon runs specials on it on occasion.

@@campbellbuilt I've seen TH-cam videos showing how to use the regular Bosch battery by swapping the top of the battery pack.

Stay strong Sig!
Thanks for the review. It would be nice if manufacturers added the option to reverse the spin direction. Seems overdue.
Never thought about having a reverse option. I could see it being a real benefit.
Good info! Didn’t know they made a cordless! Been fighting the cord for years! You guy ought to show off those Jeeps sometime!!!
did you try to repair this Dremel or just to open it to inspect? Interesting what was the root cause of such behaviour (noise from inside of it)?

I’m going to give the Bosch the win here 😀. Sig our Dog says he hates both.
Fun fact bosch owns dremel
Just subbed, came from we tj channel
Thank you sir.
Which was best :)
The Dremel had a built in hanger so that was nice so other than that their both great.
