Once I played online and a player stopped actually playing. He was rolling the dice normally in the board game phases, but he was doing nothing at all during the minigames, which made the 2 VS 2 ones completely unbalanced.

Honestly, my biggest problem with jamboree is the minigames are kinda mid. There’s mostly not bad, just mid. Waluigis pinball arcade and jr’s jauntlet are really good. But daisys field day, peach’s day off, gate keepers, thwomp the difference, big top quiz, platform peril, hot blocks cross, they are all kinda mid.
1:57 The Minigame star is still part of the classic bonus stars, but if it’s only 10-20 turns party rules game you can only get 2 bonus stars per game so in classic there’s a chance of minigame, coin, or event stars not being there.
Watch out, Nathaniel Bandy. There's some competition in the Triggered department. This video is excellent. I really enjoy Jamboree myself, despite some issues here and there.
Yeah the fact Bowser can’t be played in Koopathalon mode or Bowser’s Kaboom Squad is a major sin in itself. Like what is the point of imposter bowser if that is the case? Like Bowser and Imposter bowser are NOT the same character. Whoever made that be that way makes me mad that Bowser is not playable there.

But it's not perfect Actually in pro rules you can pick what battle minigame you play, so it kinda fixes the issue Also: 4:13 Sonic Shufle be like: 5:44: that would be like if you could turn of day and night cycle from 6 or Bowser time from 7, main gimmicks of games are called main for a reason, especialy since this game is called Super Mario Party JAMBOREE and they are called JAMBOREE buddy's.
Oh yeah for some reason, they changed the way you can find players online, by making you pick a board and then if you want to play online, meanwhile superstars had this decent UI where you select which boards you liked, duration and bonus stars meaning if you're not picky you could just select all and get on a room faster... And then, just like superstars, the game doesn't have a penalization for people when they get salty and leave the room midgame, there are times I end up alone just because I got a star on turn 2 even in pro rules I tested it once it threw me into an empty lobby and I just left the room. And please Nintendo Cube, stop making extra modes of just slop, the paratroopa taxi game I played it once and never again just to get the achievement to progress faster, you are so close yet far to achieve the ultimate experience

The motion controls in this game are fine. Those mini games are worth keeping on given the mini game variety point you brought up. Most of it comes down to figuring out what the correct motion is, and getting good at doing it consistently. Like for Night lights, I figured out that if you can crank faster by doing a slower, more circular motion with the joy con. Those mini games could take awhile to get good at (Tiny Triathlon took me like an hour to get good at), but they DO WORK. Maybe you have bad joy cons, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a skill issue.
In the minigame Tilt-A-Golf you can also shake the Joy-Con to make the golf ball jump out of a bunker. Also when I play the Daily Challenges and have to play against CPU opponents although I chose Online, I sometimes notice that no high score is shown in minigames such as Domination! or Pickax Dash for some opponents which means those must be CPU characters.
There’s only three problems I have with Jamboree: 1. Why do 3 of the modes (Paratroopa Flight School, Bowser Kaboom Squad, and Koopathlon) limit you on who you can and can’t play as? Like, why can’t I play as anyone besides Mario in Paratroopa Flight School? I REALLY hope this gets fixed in a patch 2. There aren’t enough minigames in the Party Mode. My MP group usually has Motion Control minigames turned off, so it feels like we play the same minigames in every game we play together 3. Some cool parts of Superstars got cut from Jamboree for no reason. Such examples include: 1. While it’s cool that you can make your own Mario Party card like in Superstars, I miss learning what everyone’s favorite MP games, boards, and minigames are 2. Why did they remove the ability to play the Classic Music on the Retro Boards? The remixes sound good, but come on, there was no reason to remove the music toggle 3. While I think it’s cute that there’s an audience at the end of the game cheering for the players (especially with the Jamboree Buddies holding the flags for the person they’re rooting for), I do miss the end of the board cutscenes in Superstars where second, third, and fourth get chased by some characters from the board and then there’s a picture of the Superstar striking a pose and the fourth place person gets punished in some way Seriously, with the amount of Superstars content that was cut from Jamboree, I’m surprised Nintendo didn’t go “oh yeah, let’s remove the ability to fast forward cutscenes too!”
I guess you had to do it since. Nathaniel doesn’t really do them that much anymore. You should do mind blowing since this is one of the best mario parties of all time!

Your literally fighting a fake Bowser conjured up by Kamek. Why shouldn't Bowser fight and run from illusion of himself? - And finally, how hard was it to include 1 board from Mario Party 3? Do the developers have anything against that specific entry?
It’s a fun game but way too slow. The gamecube mario parties were perfect and turns ended fast and I could play like 30 rounds in less than 2 hours for a 15 round match in this game.

Missed opportunity to bring back mystery land
