I agree yeah, lashing out in their rage. That's the biggest annoyance with this game, the background and themes are so interesting that what little explanations they give leave you craving more. When the Taidanni start coldly raging at you (to distract you) it would've been interesting for them to explore that more.
@@danthony1715 No! Perfectly done as it leaves you interested and wanting to know more. It's more a loving annoyance really, just wish they had made another game with the feel of Catacylsm showing what happened after HW1 instead of HW2's ooga-booga mysticism with the Progenitors, cool as they were.
@@ukaszflis828 I mean they decided to turn against the beast and attacked it with kiith somtaw and taiidan republic, so... yeah I guess? They could've simply bailed out after finding out the beast was planning to betray them and assimilate them as well, but they chose to stay and fight it.
@@Oisin14 nah, the devs of Cataclysm are now Rockstar Vancouver. They lost stuff while moving office or something. The name thing is a totally other issue, that was resolved by selling the game under the emergence title.

You can actually watch that unfold during the final mission if you hang back and watch with Recon ships or Leeches at a distance: The Imperialist Taiidan just get _ripped apart_ by the Beast fleet and the Naggarok (uninfected Taiidan Heavy Cruisers and Carriers are consumed in like, 5 seconds by the Naggarok).
