Growing up in the Philly area and watching the Hy Lit show and the Georgie Woods show regularly, I remember seeing this show with the Mad Lads on. Bought their album " The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad , Mad Lads with this cut on it. Played it to death!!
This week of Febuary 2020 is the first time in my life I have heard of this group and I am in my 60's . How could such a magnificent group could be left in the dark un heard of. For sure God did not for get them and this is why we can see them today

My favorite song from my childhood is "SO NICE" -- such a beautiful song of young love when black guys actually treasured black girls! Thank you Mad Lads for the loving memories!

The Mad Lads was mad nice especially when they came to the Apollo Theatre and sung I want a girl and What will love tend to make you do😉 Broads was throwing underwear’s everything up on stage🎙️ The Mad Lads was just smooth brothers from the bottom (Memphis)👇🏼 I read Junior passed away maybe a few years ago(John Williams) and i got that info on here The Mad Lads could’ve been really big but i believe Junior and maybe another group member got drafted in the Army during the Viet Nam era I know Junior like Archie Bell ended up in Germany🇩🇪 I don’t know what happened to Junior after that However the Temprees outta Memphis picked up where the Mad Lads left off at… one ☝🏼
