    Great video! Glad you recovered and tackled your project again. Love your adventuring spirit ... cutting new trails and finding old ones to access special places!

      Thanks Brian! Honestly, its like adventure OCD, LOL. I could do easier trips but I just cant help myself trying to access places that are seldom traveled. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks Bruce! I was quite unsure of this video as it had some good parts and some not so good. Its hard to know when there's too much editing. Really glad the flow of the story worked out. Thanks for watching!

      I totally agree. It's one of the reasons why I'm doing these video's. Everyone has this idea Sask is nothing but prairie, but its so much more. Thanks for watching!!!

      Marc! thanks for checking out the new vid! I still have to finish off your new one. Ya, was surprised a bit by the portages, it sure helped they were still intact.
      LOL....I know!!!! I though of you when I was editing the video and was wondering if you were going to make a comment about lipping pike! Too funny!!!!!
      Cheers stud! 🍻🍻

      @puddlejumper-sk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gil!
      Thank you and hope you had a great summer of paddling! They don't sell it anymore but it's the Gerber Professional Gator Machete. I find its great to use on small stuff around 2 inch's in diameter or less. What I was trying to cut in the video was a little to big to that tool but is doable. Thanks for watching!

    Why did you want the site to be west facing?

    • @puddlejumper-sk
      @puddlejumper-sk  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks for dropping a line. The weather reports said that the wind was going to be coming out of the East. I hate being exposed to the wind so I was determined to get a west facing campsite sheltered from that east wind.
      Cheers!

    I live in the states. I don't think I could just leave my vehicle in a gravel pit. With the private property issues down here it might not be there when I pull out. Do you know who owns the gravel pit? Is it the SK road dept? or a logging company?

    • @puddlejumper-sk
      @puddlejumper-sk  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya the Sask government (Department of Highways) would own the gravel pit. Once you get into northern Saskatchewan the government owns most of the land. So its a bit of a free for all. Unless there's something posted I assume its all good and use it at your own risk.
      Thanks for Watching!

      I live in Sask and will warn you that leaving your vehicle unattended in northern sask is NOT recommended. Unless you enjoy dealing with insurance companies..
