I usually don't like the way people tune Gumi to be honest, because to me her voice sounds way to repetitive in every song but this songs has the best and most unique tuning of her I've ever heard and the song itself is hauntingly beautiful! All in all you did an awesome job and this is easily one of my top Gumi songs because of how well you used her and how great the song sounds!❤️

Now my theory of what this songs story is is way more sad than what's said to be the story: A boy lived a happy life, with his friends, family, and his soulmate, but his life spirals down as he develops DID, one of them becoming the new main personality and taking over his life, and his slowly looses his sanity due to his life now being controlled by someone else, and when he does have control no one cares for him anymore, so he goes mad, harming his own body just so the personality that took over can feel his pain
It really is, CATTS S said they did some research before making this song, but if that's really the case they ignored everything about it. The song is cool and I also like both the lyrics and how Gumi's tuned, they just should not have said this song was meant to represent a realistic person with DID, there's already enough bad representation out there.

so to get this straight, did Akune kill the other alters? Or was it just the body? because i dont think hes a murderer. And if he did why didnt he kill Tsukune?
It is kinda like that, he killed the other alters and damaged the body, but he can't kill Tsukune because they're almost the same alter, it's kinda hard to explain but as I said, this is a fantasy setting and the character is not human (actually he's a demon/human hybrid) there's a wizard involved at some point and also some time traveling (that's another history but related to this one), but in resume, there's no way for Akune to successfully kill Tsukune without killing himself in the process, so he just tortures him psychologically
If you actually did any research (which I heavily doubt) you'd know 1: multiple personality disorder is an extremely outdated term. 2: we don't need more songs like this. we're stigmatized enough. Stop. Not every story people make as to involve "the insane evil alter." And no, medicine does not cause DID. Trauma does. Alters are not inherently evil. Do some research that isn't just watching Split next time.
